I did not like the hotel rooms at all. Everything is old in the bedroom not so clean at all. I had booked two nights, but I checked out one night early because we couldn’t sleep in the beds. They were not clean and not comfortable at all so we had to check early and come back home, very poor hotel do not believe it’s advertising online

This was our first time here and the kids loved it. Loved the ease of purchasing things and dining and the key card actually being a wrist band. Kids loved the Magi Quest, but it was very hectic and hard to maneuver through all the people. Though this was no fault of the resort, the chaotic nature of it made it hard to enjoy.

The property is old, wood trim has paint all over it, looks like they don’t do any taping or care if they get paint on the trim. Everything looked old.

Howling good time
Weather was not amazing, but you didn't have to leave the building for anything. Everyone was friendly willing to help. Clean clean clean! Grand kids love the water park. Magic quest is in need of some serious updating. Took two days to get the wand to work to complete the quest. As much as folks like to play this game and sink a ton of money to play it, it seems like the company can invest in new technology.

The water area was nice and clean. The room carpet was very gross. Beds and bedding are very uncomfortable. Prices are very gauged. 4.99 for a bottle of ice tea. The bar and grill restaurant didn’t have a bar tender so they wouldn’t even serve the kids milkshakes or anything and the food was super gross and expensive. I mean really gross. If we ever go back we will definitely bring all our own drinks and eat at restaurants not at the hotel. And bring our own bedding. They seriously need to clean the carpets in the rooms. Not just vacuum actually clean them cause they are nasty.

Kids loved the water park. Two years ago, we took our grandchildren to the Wolf Lodge in Massachusetts and liked that one more. We liked the Halloween decorations. It would have been nice if there was a "real" magic show. The event that was posted as a Monday morning activity was only for the exclusive higher-paying guests in the Paws program. Kids were disappointed when they arrived at the lobby at 10:00 am and turned away. We reserved 2 rooms - 162 and 177. Carpets were in need of replacement. We didn't want kids sitting on the floor. A separate "baby" pool is required. Why were kids under 2 allowed in the hot tub? Unsanitary with diapers on. Plumbing needs repair in room 177, the bathtub valve was so loose the water temp kept fluctuating and had to be reset and held by hand when in use. With a broken valve hot water could scald young children in tub. Why is there a $30 towel charge on my charge card without prior approval? There was no notification at the waterpark at the time towels were accepted....also no verbal notice from attendant or sign posted? Liked the Dunkin Donuts option but the line was too long. We didn't spend much time eating at the Lodge restaurant because breakfast buffet prices were exorbitant for small children who don't eat much.

Checking in the associate wasn’t friendly. Tried to talk me into those passes. When I asked if I can add them on at a later time she looked at me and was silent. I had to repeat myself and then she said yes. When leaving, maid knocked on my door at about 9:40 and woke my kids up after knocking twice. If checkout is at 11am why did she knock on my door at 9:40? When I went to the door and explained we would be checking out bu 11am she rolled her eyes at me and said ok. Being treated poorly by staff leaves a bad taste in my mouth when considering returning.

My family and I stayed for two days. The hotel is dated, and we were not told upon check in that the cleaning service would not touch our room unless we requested. So we had no coffee or restocked towels. The Dunkin Donuts coffee shop inside is open whenever they have staff, and most days it closes at 1pm or sooner. The restuarnent had limited selection, and waitstaff was slow to take, bring orders even though the place wasn't crowded. We also ordered coffees with our dinner, which were never brought. We asked to have them taken off our bill and the waitress seemed annoyed with request. She never came to check on us once food was served, or to refill our waters. Food inside the water park was decent, but horribly overpriced as is everything else there. Arcade was good, all our games worked. Water park was okay; lots of unruly teens goofing off in lazy river and lifeguards do nothing. Three slides with super long lines. Bathrooms in the waterpark were gross. There is no pool that is deeper for adults. My kids were bored by second day. They are a cashless resort which is annoying. I was charged double for everything, and have been attempting to get the extra funds back. Its been a nightmare. And according to trip Advisor and Yelp, the constant over and double charging is a constant thing with a lot of people. We will not be going back and we've been going yearly since they opened.

Everything was perfect. Lots for the kids to do. Everything you need available on site. Staff was one of the friendliest I've seen in a while. My only two complaints are 1. Everything closes a bit too early for my family. Waterpark closes at 8, Everything else closes at 10. I get staffing is probably the reason but I wish one food place was open later. Having a high maintenance toddler it is hard for us to not have food options available when we need them. 2. I'm not sure if this issue was with Great Wolf or Expedia.com. I booked my stay through Expedia and was a bit nervous when I showed up and they couldn't find my paid for reservation. Eventually the girl at the desk said she assumes they got my name wrong somehow. I had proof of my reservation in my email but after driving a long distance its scary to hear them not be able to find your reservation.

I really like the rooms but hotel carpet looks dirt and washed too many times. Inside of elevator was gross, metal doors and trim inside elevators look like they have never been cleaned or polished. The put put golf needs makeover all items really faded and some things broke
