Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The in wall heat and air unit was very quiet and did not disturb our sleep at all! The staff was very helpful and courteous and we were pleased to meet the new owners, who live on site, and hear about their future plans for the Inn. The location was also within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cherry Tree Inn. They went a above and beyond our expectations. The had coffee available all the time in the lobby. They had fresh cucumber water for there guest. The front desk had great maps and suggestions for the area. Love that this hotel had all natural products and was very GREEN. Breakfast was wonderful every morning was full of great items.

We have five guys in the family room and everyone fits all in one room! Breakfast was definitely a Deluxe. It helped having everyone together all in one room when it came time for dinner and waiting for breakfast.

Very clean rooms for being so close to the sandy beach. I was very pleased with the staff who had good knowledge about things to do in the area. Fun Michigan getaway, we enjoyed our anniversary very much. Close proximity to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, know that was a hike! We look forward to coming back with our kids.

Overall my stay was enjoyable. This historic hotel is very well maintained. Most of the staff are friendly and accommodating. Front desk staff need a little more training on being courteous. I picked up on a snotty attitude which I did not care for.
