Enjoyable stay for the night.

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: It was clean, had all the basics I needed, and the staff members were pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: I would have liked to see a better selection for the breakfast (a basket of fruit would be nice), but what was there was good.
I liked this hotel. It was clean, had all the basics I needed, and the staff members were pleasant and accommodating. Just make sure you have a credit card with you, since I didn't have one with me (the card we placed the room on was my mom's). Still, the man was willing to work with me, and I still had a comfortable stay for the one night I spent there (I was in town to take an exam). I would have liked to see a better selection for the breakfast (a basket of fruit would be nice), but what was there was good. I would recommend this hotel.

Won't go again

No bikes were allowed in the hotel rooms. Front desk guy was a jerk. Won't be staying here ever again for iceman. Hotel needs a drastic update.

The staff is very courteous, and helpful in providing recommendations on local restaurants. The room was comfortable, and quiet, which lead to a good nights rest.

My husband and I stayed one night on our way up to Mackinac Island. The hotel was very well kept. It was actually the best Knights Inn I have ever stayed at in terms of cleanliness and friendly staff. Definitely would stay again.

Nice room. but bed too firm

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, good rate
Cons: Need more selection at breakfast, especially fruit
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but the bed was too firm for us. Was disappointed in the continental breakfast. There wasn't much of a selection and there was no fruit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Cleanliness, bright, friendly staff/management
Cons: Did not care for the bathroom fan coming on each time you turned the switch on.
Location: Location was ideal for Dr visits, downtown, and a getting to shopping.
Have stayed here in the past and always been a very good experience. Would stay again.

Poor seating in the queen rooms.

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: The workers were accommodating to the best of their ability. The pool was nice but small.
Cons: Two single chairs in the queen rooms that are more plush.
The hotel was full when we arrived at or near 7pm. We did request a ground floor room because of our arthritis and bad backs but the person scheduling our stay would not commit to send on our request. We had to take the upper floor and found that the only seating in the room was one, hardwood, desk chair. We asked for a more comfortable chair and the only one available was a black vinyl, high back, broken out seat, kitchen table type of chair. A very uncomfortable seat to say the least. The next night was better because we were able to shift to a ground floor but still had to stay with the queen room with the poor seating. The shower curtains are not long enough to stay inside the tub if you bump them during a shower. I also found the headboards to have a heavy coating of dust on them. The breakfast was just ok.
