Nice hotel close to train station and downtown.Posted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: The space in both the room and bathroom. The overall high quality of the hotel.
Location: There are museums, the downtown area has many shops and restaurants. Many of the streets are for pedestrians only, so walking around is safe.
The room was nice and spacious. It is in a very good location close to the train station and downtown Trento. The quality was much better than other hotels in larger cities in the same price range. It was in a quiet location. They had an excellent buffet breakfast that was included in the price.

Nice quality hotelPosted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
No problems with the cleanliness or comfort of this hotel and it was only a short walk from the town centre shops. I have written to complain to them about being unable to get out of their parking for an hour, as the road was closed for a road race. I specifically checked when booking in, if this would be an access problem, and I was reassured not. I think a warning printed on the check in desk would have been appropriate. Breakfast buffet very comprehensive.

Great hotel!Posted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: The hotel itself was very nice and clean.
Location: The hotel is perfectly situated by restaurants and shopping.
My husband and I spent two nights at the Grand Hotel Trento and had a great time. The hotel is very close to the old town area so you can easily walk to shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was very nice and accomodating and we had no problem communicating with them in English (our Italian was not very good at all!). There was a momma duck that had made her nest by the main entrance of the hotel and the staff made sure that there was always a bowl of fresh water for her to drink. Very sweet!

Great location and hotelPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is very close to the train station and convenient to the main square. We stayed in five nice hotels while in Italy, but this was the nicest. The common areas are especially beautiful.

Comfortable stayPosted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
We found the beds to be very comfortable, the rooms clean, the breakfast buffet was exceptional. The only problem was that the airconditioning did not cool the room sufficiently. We were there when it was quiet warm out and the electricity is not on, when we were not in the room. The room (key) card is what activates the electricity. Even when we were using the card in the slot the room did not get cool enough. But, otherwise the hotel was an exceptional value and very satisfactory. I would recommend it.

Grand Hotel - definitely worth a repeat stayPosted Jun 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a great hotel situated less than a 3 minute walk from the train station-right across the park. The employees speak many different langages, so English, Italian, German, Spanish would not be a problem. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. I'm surprised they still charge for an internet connect as most hotels don't. But for 3 Euros a day, big deal. The breakfast was excellent - buffet style. A a very nice hotel in a beautiful, safe, and historical city.
