Nice concept but needs TLCPosted Oct 5, 2013
Cons: Cleanliness, repair
This is a very old estate that has been turned into a hotel and restaurant. Staff was friendly but the property was not well kept and was dark and dinghy. Granted it is an old building but a little northern Italian care wouldn't be too hard to do.

Absolutely Charming!Posted Sep 12, 2013
Cons: Only place in the room we could internet was the bathroom, however, they went out of their way to make the courtyard available for us w/ better access
Location: Why would you want to leave this estate? It is so beautiful and peaceful.
This place oozes with old world charm, complete with just the right amount of squeak to the floors. Nicely appointed, and even has a small kitchen, and balcony. Sits up on a hill overlooking a vineyard.

beautiful rustic estate/ STUNNUNG VIEWSPosted Jun 16, 2013
super cordial owner Andreas and very friendly staff. a bit warm in summer & could have used room fans but that would be the only neg. rooms are sparse but large/clean and in-suite toilettes with showers. the vibe is totally authentic on this working Grappa vineyard and perched on a mountainside the views of the mountains and the morning continental on the balcony are as relaxing as it gets. Loved the two days we were there ! !

Interesting and Different Place to StayPosted Jan 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Well, we LOVED the owner and his family was lovely. His wine is GREAT and the dinners in his on site restaurant were both affordable and delicious. The house itself is a large old rambling house turned into hotel. The rooms are decorated in old pictures, cross stitch and you feel like you've gone to visit your grandmother in the country. All of that I loved. The problem is there is little to keep you from hearing the people in the other rooms and our neighbors had screaming babies. He should really consider putting children in another section of the house to protect those of us who don't have little ones from the noise. Oh, and he owns a few roosters. All of this can be solved by bringing along your ear plugs. I'd really emphasize that the place is amazing and these drawbacks don't offset the unique stay we had there. Just go prepared and enjoy!

Great family hotel.Posted Dec 27, 2012
A great B&B type hotel which dates from the 1600s. Several rooms are large enough to easily accomodate 4-5 people--two parents and three kids. Owners/operators speak excellent English. Restaurant on site is excellent.

THE VILLA IS A NICE PLACE TO STAY, THOUGH FOR ME BEEN MY FIRST TIME TO VISIT TRENTO I HAD A LITTLE CHALLENGE IN LOCATING THE PLACE. HOWEVER THE STRESS WAS OVER WHEN I WAS WARMLY RECEIVED. THE WORKERS ARE WARMLY AND COURTEOUS. IS A HOME OUTSIDE HOME.

Original and eccentricPosted Sep 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
A great villa on the hill overlooking Trento. The villa is old and full of character but needs a lot of work. We stayed in part of the main villa with walls covered in original paintings. We had two toilets off this room, one toilet with wc and the other with the wash hand basins. Buffet breakfast was ok. Be prepared for a stay in a truly eccentric place.

Beautiful SurprisePosted Jul 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
My wife and I were traveling by train, so we didn't have a car. We called the hotel to get directions. They told us which bus to take, and to call them from the stop. When we called they came and Picked us up. The staff were so nice. And the room and the villa itself were absolutely stunning. What an awesome place in the hills south of Trento. If you're considering staying here do yourself a favor and book it... It would have been way more convient if we had a car, but the bus and the train worked out fine...
