Convenient right of the exit

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Cons: Our room had a few fleas I think the pet rooms should be seperate from the others.
We were just passing thru on our way home. It's a nice place but we didn't get to use the pool this time.

Adequate for an overnight

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Hotel is adequate. Clean room, carpet appears to be new. Toilet did not flush well, always had to flush several times. Breakfast listed as 6am to 10 am on brochure in room. When I went to the lobby at 0920 the attendant had just completed putting away breakfast. His explanation, "That is the old time." No apology.

Friendly Staff but facilities need work

Posted May 29, 2014
The wifi didn't not work . The tub drain did not close for bathing . You could only shower. Some light bulbs did not work. The continental breakfast had very limited options. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Place to sleep and take a shower...

Posted May 23, 2014
It served its purpose of being a place to sleep and take a shower while.on our road trip. In a "non smoking" room it smelled like an ash tray, even the linens and towels smelled of smoke. The lobby where the boxes of cereal and coffee pot were stationed had no a\c or even a fan for air circulation. It was quite stagnant. I was also charged a higher rate than the price I had booked... I wasnt sticking around to figure out why. If you just need a place to sleep, it will suffice. Otherwise go somewhere else.

Pros: Location
Cons: Cleaner rooms, better maintenance of building, considerable improvement/quality of food.
Hotel old and dingy, poorly maintained. Rooms not thoroughly cleaned. Continental breakfast sparse. Poor quality food.

Good for quick trip

Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: It was right off the high way.
Cons: Smell of the rooms.
Location: Don't know - we were travelling cross country and just stopped to sleep. Up and out early in the morning.
A few negatives: 1) Room smelled of smoke - even though it was "non smoking." I'm sure it's tough to get the smell out, but ya gotta just try better. 2) The morning counter woman, was sitting immediately outside the front door smoking - so there was no choice to go through her haze of smoke to enter the building - disgusting! 3) Shampoo/conditioner was the worst I have experienced in a hotel - pretty much like water - shampoo wouldn't even lather! Can you tell I don't like the smell of smoke? Now to the good stuff - Checkin was smooth, quick, and pleasant. There were several people at the front desk and they were all eager to help check us in. Towels were soft. Water was warm/hot. Room was clean. Beds were okay comfy. Pillows were decent. Breakfast wasn't great - except the banana muffins - store bought, but very good!

I don't usually stay at Day's Inns in GA.

Pros: Location
Cons: The door hinges were very nasty. There were holes in one pillow case (cigarettes?) We didn't bother with the breakfast once we saw it.
Location: The location was very near a wedding we were attending.
We thought the hotel a little pricey for what it offered. We attribute that to the nearness of the Chattanooga attractions. We stayed at another chain, in FL, the next night and got a great room with a lot more amenities for $3.00 more.
