"Amazing place to stay"
Our stay at the castle for my 50th was amazing. We had booked a Junior king suite and the room was clean and bed very comfortable. The view was amazing. On checkin our room was not ready and we were not given any info about breakfast etc and there was no info in the rooms. However on asking questions we were well looked after.Long taxi ride and costly to get there from train station but well worth the effort. They opened up the museum just for us late after we returned from having a meal and then suggested we go have a look at the prisons. Great fun. We had lunch at Osteria ca"Dei Loff which is in village below.Wonderful food and staff.

"DIFFICULT TO FAULT THIS HOTEL!"
Wonderful location, superb service, good value and now with a fantastic swimming pool wef August 2013. Difficult to fault this hotel at the price. Evening food is on the expensive side but there are several reasonable eateries in Asolo just within 200m of the hotel. Can't wait to go back. PS. Was the home of Robert and Elizabeth Barrett-Browning.

"Perfect place to relax after a busy hectic holiday"
We drove to the hotel from Castellina in Chianti, via Maranello and lake Garda, in total about six hours driving and we were tired! We arrived at Villaguarda to a warm, friendly welcome went straight to our room with balcony, walk-in wardrobe and comfy bed. We went out for dinner then back to the hotel. The hotel doesn't have a bar as such but there is a lounge area so we went down for a needed drink, the atmosphere, service etc was so comfortable it was like a home from home. The place is modern but they've decorated with loads of cool, interesting antiques and old stuff such as vinyl records and player, cartridge tapes. On the first morning we had breakfast on the patio before going in to Venice. All in all this was a fantastic place to end our trip and would highly recommend it to anyone.
