Well I can't really say too much seeming how we checked in at 1:00 in the morning...but seeming how there isn't much to choose from in that little desert town, it's pretty decent.

Wonderful value and location

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Located across a cross street from the mall, it is a great location for travelers. Fair rates, and GREAT customer service!
Cons: My only suggestion is the same for all hotels in the Tri-Cities...rooms for couples (for example, a "honeymoon suite" that includes a jacuzzi tub)
Location: The Columbia Center Mall is just across the street, and plenty of restaurants nearby as well. Close to the interstate for easy mobility
We decided to stay at a hotel for our anniversary, but were limited on choices due to our anniversary and Cool Desert Nights falling on the same weekend. We decided on the Fairfield because it was a Marriot hotel and we are pleased that we did. We got to the hotel about 30 minutes before check-in, but the front desk clerk was friendly and checked to see if our room was ready early. She also suggested that, because they are a family friendly place and it was our anniversary, we wait until after we got back from our dinner date to use the pool so it wouldn't be as crowded. The pool had a sign on the door informing guests that the heater was broken, but we found the pool to be a very comfortable temperature. We checked out after a delicious breakfast and had a great experience.

Overpriced for what it is

Posted Jun 8, 2014
The hotel is clean and the staff is nice but this hotels best days were in the 90's. The beds are stiff and the dated feel is not what you expect at this price. The other hotels in the area were already booked so I thought this would be ok and it would be for about $60 less.

Slamming Doors

Posted May 9, 2014
Cons: The breakfast counter is clean and organized. The seating area is small very small and close together.
Location: Very convenient to stay and close to shopping.
Front desk check in very helpful. The rooms have very little sound barrier from other guest conversations and the slamming doors are extremely disruptive. The staff could encourage the guests to be thoughtful of others already settled in to stay.

Hotel is what is expected, clean, efficient with a reasonable breakfast, however the back side of the hotel is adjacent to a truck yard.....very noisy, but they were good and changed our room.....pity late arrival with full house
