Worse hotel everPosted Mar 4, 2014
Hot water wouldn't stay on, uncomfortable bed & pillows, very rude staff when asking for extra pillows!

Motel 6, Johnson CityPosted Nov 6, 2013
Very nice stay - I've stayed in "proper" hotels considerably worse than this motel! Incredibly friendly staff, very clean rooms which were in great condition. A great stopping off point.

Good LocationPosted Oct 19, 2013
The staff was very friendly and helpful, room was quiet ....being close to the interstate, no in room amenities, the outside building and stairs is in poor condition...many construction workers lurking about.

Nightmare at Motel six johnson cityPosted Oct 17, 2013
Cons: customer service
I booked this r 11 pm and arrived at 3 am, only to be told that i could not check in until 6 am. i offered to pay an extra night and was told that i could not. buy a room from 3 am to 6 am. I asked to wait in the lobby and was told no. I asked to wait the three hours in the parking lot and was told that was traspassing even though I had a paid room for that calender date. I returned to the car to find a place in the phone book to wait my three hours and was cussed out by the general manager wearing camo and a remington ball cap. Horrible.

Great staffPosted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was very professional. The bed was comfortable. There was some noise in the back parking lot, but it went away. The cable TV was a bit slow to load, so the picture pixelates. Good value for price. Good location. Helpful staff.

13 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway!Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Easy to get to the Speedway and to the interstate.
Cons: Repair ice machines. Would be nice to have had a breakfast bar
Location: 13 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway. Easy to get there and back. Centrally located to nearby city attractions.
Great pool. Disappointed that the ice machines did not work. Staff was great. Easy to get to the Speedway and to the interstate.

Great for the price!Posted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: The price
Cons: Rooms need updated
Location: Mall and Restaurants close by
The hotel was great for the price. If you just need a place to sleep a few hours it is great. They have really let this hotel run down. It could use some updating. The room was clean and was pleased with it for the most part.

Very Good StayPosted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: I was let into the room easily and the room was something out of home and gardens.
Cons: Alarm your outside access doors to be set at midnight to make the motel secure for guests.
Location: There was a mall with more than enough places to eat around it. The Bristol raceway is not too far away.
The rate was very fair for being next to a mall area. No noise at all, the manager let me in the room at 3PM that day just to be nice. There is of course no breakfast which is standard with all Hotel 6 due to the price. And my price through Expedia was very low at $57 for a King. Not but two miles from the VA Medical hospital there in Johnson City TN so this will be a good place to come to overnight if needed next time. More than enough fast food and sit down restaurants within a half mile. The price comparison, matching the stay with other amenities for a one to two night stay would make this Motel 6 the best in 15 miles in the area. Thank you Expedia and Motel 6 for a great stay.
