Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Room very comfortable and clean, good amenities
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Did not have opportunity to see things near by
Mainly just there to sleep, did go to breakfast in the morning, there is a 5 dollar all you can eat buffet type breakfast, food is only ok but there is lots of it.

Quite a distance from The Gorge but a great stay

Posted Sep 7, 2014
We traveled here from Illinois having never stayed in the state of Washington. We were pleasantly surprised at the value this hotel offered. We had shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a super nice rainfall shower. The room also had a microwave, fridge, n directv with a nice flat screen tv. Overall it was a great stay and the pillows were excellent!!

The hotel was good, but....

The room was excellent but smelled like "old hotel". They are in the middle of renovations.

Your staff are exceptional.

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Mostly everything
Cons: Your gym is lacking. Only ONE treadmil and ONE elliptical, with hundreds of rooms of people. I had to wait to use the treadmill and never really
Location: We were visiting family and it was very convenient.
One staff person tried to help me figure out how to turn on the lights for my rental car. Your breakfast is wonderful, convenient, good food. Your lounge helped us find good food right in the hotel.

Reservation at Red Lion

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Red Lion should adopt a policy of honesty. Their customers should be told in advance of the cur-tailment in services - Astoria & Kennewick, WA.
Location: The Red Lion at Columbia Center in Kennewick, WA is in the heart of Washington wine country. We went there to do wine tours of the area.
Bad experience. This is the second time Red Lion has "stiffed" me. Both times, their properties were undergoing major construction. Both times the Red Lion staff(s)) failed to tell my husband & me that services were severely limited. For example, the restaurant was closed. Room service was not available. Had I been told these facts I would have changed my reservations. There were also a number of minor glitches such as no glassware in the rooms. Two lamps were non-functional. No safety grips in the shower & no soap dish. At dinner time we were told "...the bar is the only place serving food". They actually served snacks while a boom-box precluded any conversation between us. Enough said.

Hard to find check-in desk

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Very clean and quiet
Cons: Need to ensure the customer can find any specific area of the hotel no matter the condition of the property
Location: N/A
Upon arriving we discovered the entrance was under a major construction, and was surprised the motel did not have any instruction in getting off any road and to the check-in desk. Walked several hundred feet and walk around the hotel until I found the desk

nice, comfy beds, run down

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: The breakfast selection was decent and the beds are great.
Cons: Fix worn fixtures, doors and mold in bathrooms.
Location: close to the river trail and shopping as well as the freeway
Everything was clean and the beds are comfortable. The place was quiet and I slept well. The grounds, interior and exterior are worn down and in need of being updated.

The thing that needs improving is the swimming pool.....it was cloudy all 6 days we were there. We never went in for that reason.
