Great location right on the main street. Very close to all of the shops and restraints. Just a few blocks to the waterfall. We were provided with tickets to the waterfall, but opted not to use them. If you go after hours it is free and there are very few people around. WiFi worked great. Desk clerk was very knowledgeable and recommended a great place for dinner.

Nice affordable hotel near the waterfall & clocks

Posted May 23, 2014
Staff, room view, hotel location, and free breakfast was all excellent. The bad thing for me was the bed. It's hard as a rock and the pillows were flat so I woke up with back pain. The bathroom was also very old with very rough towels but clean. The free wifi was extremely slow but good enough for some last minute google research or email. The parking is right behind and you feed a meter for how long you are there. Everything in Triberg worth seeing is walking distance from hotel. The hotel gives you free admission to the waterfall. The pizza place below the hotel is amazing and was always packed. For lunch or dinner try the restaurant at entrance to the waterfall with "Lillie" in it's name. The food was delicious. For clocks, stop by Oli's and you won't be disappointed. Oh also the bell tower is right by the hotel so every 15 expect the bell to go off until bed time.

Good location for a visit

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Location is excellent.
Cons: Up-dated facilities.
Location: Visit Cafe Schaefer for the traditional Black Forest cake. The Waterfalls are a must. The clock shops are fun too. Friendly town.
Certainly central and the bus stop is outside. For a day's visit to Triberg it is adequate. Unusually located above commercial floors but this is no problem. Clean and comfortable for that short visit. One night in Triberg is enough to experience it fully. A basic hotel but very welcoming.

friendly staff, good location

Location in center of town was very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Parking was available adjacent to the building. Served our purpose fine and price was reasonable. Town was quiet during our off-season stay in mid November.

Nice, limited service hotel

Posted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Good value. Had a problem with a rental car and the clerk was very helpful in sorting it out (more than was required).
Location: Within walking distance of Triberg waterfall.
Located on 3rd floor above a bank, hotel was very clean and pleasant with a good German breakfast buffet. It has a small sitting room next to the hotel desk and a clerk available when called by a buzzer, but no other extras. Make sure you take a key to the outside street door to get back in after 8 pm, as all doors are locked after that.

Great Staff

Posted Jul 13, 2013
Pros: The Staff
Location: Triberg is a real gem in the Black Forest.
Stayed for 1 night on our way to Austria. Excellent... Triberg, what a little gem. The hotel was perfectly ok. Had a room overlooking the main street. The staff were amazingly helpful. Can't praise them enough. Breakfast was good. Slightly unusual access via a lift in a bank. Had a great stay. Thank you.
