Nice, limited service hotelPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Good value. Had a problem with a rental car and the clerk was very helpful in sorting it out (more than was required).
Location: Within walking distance of Triberg waterfall.
Located on 3rd floor above a bank, hotel was very clean and pleasant with a good German breakfast buffet. It has a small sitting room next to the hotel desk and a clerk available when called by a buzzer, but no other extras. Make sure you take a key to the outside street door to get back in after 8 pm, as all doors are locked after that.

Great StaffPosted Jul 13, 2013
Pros: The Staff
Location: Triberg is a real gem in the Black Forest.
Stayed for 1 night on our way to Austria. Excellent... Triberg, what a little gem. The hotel was perfectly ok. Had a room overlooking the main street. The staff were amazingly helpful. Can't praise them enough. Breakfast was good. Slightly unusual access via a lift in a bank. Had a great stay. Thank you.

A great place inTriberg.Posted Jul 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was a great place, so close to all the sights in Triberg. Triberg was an amazing place and we want to go back! The only complaint we had about the hotel is that the towels were really bad and scratchy. Other than that, we had a great view, the breakfast was good, all of it was great! Just a note, the hotel is up a very steep hill from the train station. It wasn't very far, and we were fine to walk, but we weren't expecting it to be such a hike! But that's where everything in town is, so you may just want to plan on hopping on a bus at the train station if you don't want to hike up to the hotel. Not too bad, we made it just fine, but just FYI.

Close to everything relevant in Triberg!Posted Jun 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Excellent all around. Hotel price also included breakfast which wasn't known until we checked in and our charming maid told us about it! Not really difficult to find if you are aware of the actual location. Loved the trusting nature of our hostess as the community bar was on a pay-as-you-go honor system. This was one of two BEST places we booked through Hotels.com on our trip!

It was ok.Posted May 29, 2012
Location is downtown, really downtown. I had the room faced towards the main street and the church clock tower so expect some noise especially during the summer, no AC. There was hair in the shower and the bathroom is very old. Overall, not bad hotel and only stayed one night.

Staff was more than pleasant. With the room you also got acess to local bus services for free and free admitance into the waterfall park. This was a huge bonus for us.

Hotel is right in the middle of Triberg, great location. A little hard to navigate as hotel is on 3rd floor of an office building. Elevator was hard to find and very small. Staff was warm and friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful. They need new towels though. Everything else was very nice.

Pretty Good!Posted Sep 22, 2011
Excellent location for touring the Black Forest. Triberg is a pretty town with Germany's highest waterfall at the top of the town, which is largely on one long hill! The hotel is situated above the Sparkasse Bank, and parking was a bit tricky to start with, but was made clear on check-in. There are several flights of stairs to climb before reaching reception, but there is a small lift for those who can't or won't do the hard work! The interior of the hotel has a slightly dated feel, but the room was comfy, excepting the rather odd shelf directly over the bed pillow. This would not suit someone prone to sitting bolt-upright on waking up! The staff were friendly, and all requests were met with a smile. Breakfast is as you might expect in Germany, and there is little chance of going hungry in the morning!
