Pros: We liked the historical restoration, it was quiet and in a beautiful area. Wished we could have spent more nites there.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Location: Wonderful area, beautiful scenery, enjoyed going to the monasteries, and enjoying the countryside
We were warmly greated to the guesthouse. We were given suggestions of what there was to do in the area. We asked for, and were given recommendations of where we could enjoy a fine evening meal. We received a welcoming bottle of wine and some wonderful fruit. Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. This hotel is a historical place and has been lovingly restored. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was as well.

Charming traditional guesthouse near all sights

The staff were welcoming and very generous with additional gifts like local wine and guidebooks. Breakfast was very good and there is a pleasant garden to sit in. The room was small and noisy at night, but you can always close the windows and turn on the AC. Remember that you are in the middle of the old section of town and the building is on the historical registry. You can't have both traditional charm and a large, modern room. We prefer the charm. The bed was comfortable and they had lots of hot water - nice bath after a long, dusty hike around the monasteries. There is a sitting room and a balcony in common with other rooms, so you do not feel closed in. The location is great and we absolutely loved our stay there.
