“Impeccable service”

I stayed 10 days at the Hilton and the service was excellent. There is no doubt that I will be staying at the Hilton anytime I'm in Triniadad. There is not enough room to state how much I enjoyed my stay. The friendly staff, beautiful view, excellent food, awesome laundry service fixed my wedding dress! & provided a beautiful last minute car for me and my party when our car was late to the church. Simply the BEST !!!

“Hilton Port of Spain, TT”

Very nice hotel. Everyone was very helpful to any request. It is on the park but you need a taxi to go anywhere. I am Hilton Diamond status so I don't know if that had any bearing on the room I was given. They have the VIP reception area for drinks in the evening.

“Simply well done”

What a great place to kick back and relax. Great service and at tentative staff that were extremely helpful, and seemed to genuinely care about my comfort. I will not look for another hotel on my next trip to Trinidad as there no need to test the waters any more, this is the best.

Area recommendations

Port of Spain but avoid the surrounding areas, not very safe at night.

“Hilton Trinidad”

Great hotel with excellent service from everyone I interacted with at the hotel. Very customer focused in a very natural way. Staff genuinely interested in my stay. Kitchen prepared something for me "off the menu" which was thoughtful (and tasty). I look forward to getting back to this friendly island and great hotel.

“beautiful place”

Beautiful hotel, nice grounds, can't wait for the renovation and maintenance project to be completed.

Area recommendations

Travel all over the island and especially Asa Wright Nature Center. Go watch the Sea turtles nesting at night at the eastern end of the island

“Great place to stay”

I had no problems checking-in I asked for a room with a nice view and was quite satisfied with what I got.The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to get to solve any of my request.The staff at the lobby bar made me feel at home and were very friendly.I will definitely stay there again.

Area recommendations

Around the savannah,the malls downtown.These areas are quite safe and you can move around freely.

“Not impressed....very expensive”

The Hilton Hotel is extremely expesive. There's only one restaurant in the hotel, so there arent many choices in food and the prices are astronomical. We had a maintenance issue that did not get resolved until days later and woke up to daily construction at 7am. Not a good way to spend a vacation.

Area recommendations

The Savannah. Its close to all of the carnival events.

Family-friendly activities

No costs for food etc at the Hotel is astronical. Not a family vacation. During Carnival time there are lots of nice shows. if you need a taxi, wich is the primary mode of travel its extremely expensive

Nightlife

None at the Hilton. Difficult to know which events are appropriate to to lack of information.

“Except for...”

Except for the front desk clerks- I was impressed with the Hilton. I checked in wearing my work cloths (jeans & a black T-shirt) that were clean but apparently turned off the front desk staff. Everyone else was great including the bell hop who told me where I could buy a decent shirt & where to eat, & the folks at the restaurant where I decided to eat. And then when I was checking out & taking some pictures of the view the maintenance guy who offered to take a picture of me with Port of Spain in the background. So overall impressed.
