Pros: Accepted dogs.
Cons: Better quality linens and towels.
Location: Ate at Bella Luna Pizzeria and it was great and had the sweetest waitress ever-Amber!!
Stopped in Trinidad on the way to Aspen. Read that it was dog friendly. We got a first floor room which was nice for taking our dog out. The hotel looked new. All was fine except the sheets are very rough and scratchy. Probably low quality. Same with the towels.

Nice getaway

Pros: Staff
Went on a weekend getaway and ended up in Trinidad. Nice quiet town, the hotel was very pleasant and the staff was extremely friendly. Was able to get lots of rest and was impressed with facilities (times, etc). Was an inviting feeling, would love to visit again.

Pros: comfy beds pull down shower head huge bathroom
Location: Next to wal-mart
This hotel was in a great location and right next to Wal-Mart. The bathroom was huge and had a pull down shower head, very important if you are bathing kids! The beds were comfortable. This was the nicest of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our vacation!

New hotel close to Walmart

Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: The lobby was very attractive, and the desk clerk and other staff were friendly and efficient. It is a beautiful building inside and outside.
Cons: It needed a vent in the bathroom
Location: It is near downtown Trinidad with restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed dinner at Rino's, an Italian restaurant in an old church with singing waiters.
I'm handicapped and my daughter and I were assigned a very nice room with shower/tub for handicapped. The lavatory and other areas had beautiful granite. The hostess in the dining room was very helpful in showing me where different types of food were. I enjoyed a hard-boiled egg, fruit yogurt and coffee, but there were lots of other choices. She brought the coffee to my table. I also had juice and a banana. The bed was comfortable with nice sheets and bed cover. The motel allowed my dog to stay in the room for no charge. There was lots of handicapped parking so we could park near the back entry which was close to my room. There was a stone path to the Walmart next door. My daughter walked over there and bought a few items we had forgotten to bring. There was also a new flat-screen tv in the room with lots of channels. This was a very pleasant stay.

First Time

Posted Mar 31, 2014
This was our first time at this hotel chain and we were pleased we chose this hotel. This was a last minute reservation and I couldn't have expected better. Although close to an interstate it was quiet. A nice little lounge with pizza/calzones made it nice a convenient for a quick bite (delicious I might add) versus running around looking for a restaurant, which after a long day of travelling fit the bill quite nicely. The hostess in the breakfast room was so bubbly and interacted with everyone who came in for breakfast. The items were very similar to other breakfast's at othe chains that do not provide a restaurant menu, with the exception of more added items, such as cow milk alternatives; for me that was a nice treat. We stayed in 3 hotels in 4 days, and this would be #1 on my list.
