“Perfect for what it is.”

It's in a commercial strip far from the center of town. You will drive to get anywhere whatsoever. My GPS didn't know the street, nor did many locals. Once we found it, we found it to be clean, safe, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We left a shirt on one of the beds one day, so the maid did not make up that bed (left a note saying that all personal items must be removed from the bed or the maid is not permitted to touch it), but no serious complaints. I booked this hotel at the last minute and because it was relatively cheap. It was perfectly adequate under the circumstances, but with better planning, I could have done better. Good hotel, but close to the highway is the only virtue of its location.

Area recommendations

Stay downtown, and nowhere else. Trois Rivieres has a small, but very nice downtown and historic district. If you plan to be in town, stay there. Otherwise, Quebec drivers will push you down the highway to Quebec City in about an hour (tailgating seems to be as much a passion as hockey in this part of Canada). There is much more to do in the capitol. Trois Rivieres is as pleasant in the summer as anywhere in Canada, but it lacks the draw of Montreal or Quebec City.

“convenient”

for a small city is a nice, clean, great location, easy to get in and out to your car, especially in the winter. great cable tv, complimentary breakfast in the morning, this is my second year i a row that I stay at this hotel
