“Excellent overnight stay to break up a long journey”

Location was very easy to find, tucked away behind a filling station away from any residential area. Very quiet in and around the hotel. There was no evening dining facilities but there was an excellent Chinese restaurant in the same buildig block. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet type which was excellent. Thoroughly good VFM.

“All round value for money!”

On a trip to Europe myself , partner and son stayed in 5 different hotels!This one was by far the best value for money in that room was very clean, towels changed daily, breakfast included in price, staff very helpful and spoke English which was a big plus! Also free parking and plenty of spaces. We were very impressed with overal modern standard of room, a little small for the 3 of us but the rate was so great, that was a minor problem. Would definitely return to this hotel and would reccommend it to others with a family.We found it pays to look for accommodation outside rather than central of the area you want to stay, providing of course you have a car and transport is not an issue.

“Nice location near Cologne, Bonn”

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was included and was very good, typical german fare. the service at breakfast and at the front desk was excellent, very personable, showing a lot of care for guests. Most of the employees either spoke english fluently or made best efforts to communicate. A very pleasant stay. About 20 minutes each from central Cologne or central Bonn.

My wife, children, and I had a wonderful time at Holiday Inn Express in Cologne. It had free parking, a clean room, good matresses, and it was also a soundproof room. The windows were so dark, that you couldn't even tell what time of day it really was, which was wonderful. Aboout right next to the hotel, there is a tasty restaurant called Poco Loco, which has one of the best Cheeseburgers I have ever tried. (The Cheesburger is called the Juicy Lucy, which was on an American TV show called "Man VS Food") Overall, this was a great hotel that i would recommend to anyone.

“German hospitality”

Hotel easy to locate and close to amenities, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was well organised and plentiful, we would highly reccomend this hotel.

“Good quiet stay”

The stay was fine. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was a plus especially since they serve until 11. Good coffee! The pull out bed in the room was kind of hard and separated a little while sleeping but it was OK for the kids. The staff was English speaking and very helpful with directions. Just close enough to down town. Plenty of places to eat near by. Over all it was a good stay.

“Good Value Hotel”

Good location, clean hotel. Problem with Internet as it is through a pre-paid card system and it can be quite expensive. Hotel wouldn't change English Money into Euro's, but found an ATM Machine at garage next door to Hotel. Not the best hotel, but not the worst, and for the price paid it was ok.
