Cute cabin in a boring town

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Cabin was cozy and cool. Definitely the best place to stay near Bryce. Not much of anything to do in the town, but table and bench swings outside with views made up for it. A nice break from chain hotels.

Spacious, clean and nice!

We stayed in the premier two queen room with a full kitchen and it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable and the best spot in the Bryce Canyon area. Note that it is about 8 miles outside of the canyon, so you will want a car. But it is across the street from a diner and market so you can access amenities easily. I will stay again

Location: We had a wonderful meal at the Stone Hearth Grille.
After a long, wonderful day at Bryce Canyon National Park, the quiet setting of Bryce Country Cabins in Tropic was great.

Pros: Clean, roomy, comfortable, homey, private.
We had a wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean, roomy and comfortable. Very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend to others. Close enough to Bryce Canyon and grocery store a few buildings down. Loved it!

Not what I expected

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The cabin was very clean and about 10 minutes or so away from Bryce Canyon.
Cons: The website should clarify that the cabins are not stand-alone; that they share a wall with another cabin.
Location: It is close to Bryce Canyon and prior to arriving at the park, there is a small cowboy themed town.
From the outside, our cabin looked like one cabin, but in reality, it was rented as two separate cabins with a wall in between. It also was pre-fab cabin, which was disappointing. The price was way too high, in my opinion and I learned that there were several other places renting cabins.

A few miles from Bryce Entrance on Route 12

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Pleasant hotel manager at check in. Drop box for cabin key for our early morning check out.
Location: Check out Clarke's Restaurant (attached to the grocery store of same name). We had a very good meal with terrific service.
Enjoyable stay in our own private cabin with a microwave, refrigerator. Right on the outskirts of Tropic on Route 12, it has a rural feel. Plenty of outside chairs and gliders in between cabins, out back, and a small table and 2 chairs on the front porch to enjoy the evening air. Password to the secured wifi was provided at check-in; although signal was a bit spotty in our cabin. Bathroom is very small but manageable. The sink is actually outside the bathroom in the main room. One circuit wiring issue we found: we wanted the ceiling fan on while we slept and while the attached light fixture could be turned off via pull chain, another ceiling light on the same circuit could not be, so we did without the fan. Large bags of crushed ice were available on front porch of main cabin.
