Excellent ResortPosted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Everything, service, standard of the rooms and restaurants and attention to detail.
We only had a short visit this time but absolutely loved the resort. Very relaxed, extremely well run with fantastic staff giving excellent service. The food in all of the restaurants was first class, we highly recommend the tasting menu at Saffron the modern Indian restaurant. Couldn't give the resort higher praise, we will defiantly be returning for a longer holiday next time.

Dream locationPosted Sep 4, 2013
Cons: Dance floor
Location: Water sports and golf
Nothing is to much trouble would recommend this hotel, the location and beaches are stunning all the staff very friendly nothing to much trouble, rooms are very nice dining is great. All the water sports are great.. Our only observation was the lack of dance floor which could easily be achieved by moving some tables back.

Luxury resortPosted May 9, 2012
Pros: Restaurants, bars, jazz evenings
Cons: Isle aux Cerf
Luxury resort with very good service located in tropical garden at the small beach with private atmosphere. Unfortunatelly drinks are very expensive even for luxury resort, but food is very good both buffet and also a la carte (Safran is real gastronomical experience). Conditions for swiming in resort or close Mangenie island are only average, conditions for snorkeling are poor. Service at beaches are very good and food in beach restaurants is excellent. Island "Isle aux Cerf" is about nothing, do not waste time to go there.

Le Touessrok - Great for a fantastic honeymoonPosted Sep 21, 2008
My wife and I spent three nights at this superb hotelat the end of our honeymoon on Mauritius in September 2008. The setting is simply amazing and the half-board included evening meal was opulent to say the least. From that point of view it was good not to have stayed longer as we would have gained lots more weight. The hotel is blissfull luxury and comes with its own 18 hole golf course where we enjoyed a free initiation session. The green fee is included for hotel guests if you are serious about golf and you only have to pay for the mandatory buggy. We also enjoyed the first class bands in the evenings and the immaculate grounds. The staff (including the butler) are super attentive without being intrusive. This is probably why it is very popular with British guests. It was the crowning finale of our honeymoon which started in a chambre d'hote, then moved on to a 4-5 star hotel and then ended up here. Definitely has to be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

Outstanding service, but be prepared to remortgage your house!!Posted Jun 25, 2008
There is little wrong with Le T. Idylic setting, private beaches, world-class golf and spa facilities and outstanding service from the many friendly hotel staff. Sadly we chose to go in winter when it gets very windy and rains a little, bt not fault of the hotel! The hotel is practically the perfect resort but beware it is very pricey once you are there - not one if you are budget conscious...and there is little to do in Mauritius other than spend your time in and around top class resorts.

Best hotel I ever stayed at - and I have travelled a lotPosted Apr 25, 2008
Le Touessrok is the most amazing hotel I ever stayed at. It has an impecccable service level comparable to nothing I have ever seen and they had unbelievable sports facilities and beaches. Example of service is that they bought diapers, babyfood and gave us microwave for the baby comfort, all arranged beforehand. Example of activities are a no 10 in the world golf course on its own island and a high standard tennis club. If you want mors isolation you take a 5 minute hotel boat out to your own "desert" island with all its comforts and waiters. A couple on honeymoon to a young family, all fits there without infringing on each other. Go there!!
