Overnight excellence

Posted Aug 15, 2014
We booked in for an overnight stay while driving through France. I booked for 2 adults 3 children but the manager only received notification from Expedia for 2 adults. The manager was excellent and provided an adjoining room at no additional charge. The rooms were clean, modern and well appointed and perfect overnight stay. The location close to the motorway is excellent and on the same road is a supermarket, fuel and various shopping centres and restaurants. I would definitely us it again.

Clean, modern hotel at a reasonable price.

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: It was clean and modern and the buffet was fresh and had a good choice.
Location: Very easy to drive into Troyes.
The hotel was easy to find and as a part of the Campanile chain, reliable.

hotel in suburbs of large town

Posted May 25, 2014
Cons: The hotel is in the middle of a refit and is not currently the place to stop till the work is complete.
Location: It is not realyy close to any things to do and is simply a place to stop overnight at passing through the country
place is being updated so is partly a building site

Campanile - all that you could and should expect

Posted Oct 17, 2012
For those familiar with Campanile this offers all that you would expect. It is not one of the re-furbished hotels but the beds have had the upgrade and are very good. The restaurant was slightly above the average and offered a good range at very reasonable prices

Nothing vegetarian on the menu

Posted Sep 6, 2012
As a vegetarian, using the Campanile chain quite regularly, I have witnessed a diminishing vegetarian offer on the dinner menu. This year they didn't even have any token vegetarian dish. Such a shame - next time I will probably check into a different hotel.
