I can not say enough good things about this hotel. The facility is wonderful. Historic but with modern amenities, quality furnishings, and a very clean interior. The staff is super kind and respectful. The food is wonderful and the town is beautiful. Definitely coming back for longer.

Beautiful looking hotel in a lovely part of town, the hotel has been renovated a few years ago and to a high standard, there are a lot of steps to rooms which are quite tricky for those with mobility issues. It welcomes dogs and has a small car park for 3 cars The only down side to our overnight stay was the food on offer (cold plates) I had the plate of salmon which was quite strong in taste and the lettuce served with it was rather limp and had just 1 small tomato cut in 2 and no dressing, my husband had the duck pâté but it wasn’t very nice either and it was very expensive The staff were wonderful and obliging. We would return

Tranquil hidden spot in the centre of Troyes
Lovely hotel, such a tranquil spot in the centre of Troyes. Swimming pool is very small, but didn’t struggle for a lounge, and fresh pool towels brought out regularly. Our suite lacked a proper shower which is not what I would expect from 5* star - we are young and mobile and still struggled to climb out of the large raised bath tub which had a hand held shower attachment. All staff were lovely and welcoming

Could be much better!
It was freezing cold and they do not warm the corridors. Probably trying to save money. Third floor with no elevator with no one to help with the luggage. At check out they insisted we need to pay even though we fully prepaid online. When realizing their mistake after 30 minutes of arguing they did not even apologize.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a restaurant that is exquisite. The staff are such lovely people. The chef is wonderful. I wouldn’t ever stay anywhere else in Troys.

Lovely hotel but not such a good experience
The hotel is located close to the old city centre of Troyes, a beautiful relatively unknown city of half timbered houses, with a magnificent gothic cathedral. The staff were very welcoming and attentive before we even arrived and parking out side the hotel was easy. Our room was a very nicely appointed attic space in the old tower of this 18th century building among the beams and the rafters with a comfortable bed, soft sheets and plentiful towels in the bathroom. Shampoos and soap were provided although two bars of soap might have been warranted rather than one. There was a comfortable sofa in the room, but the room was rather poorly lit so reading was not very easy. The problem was at night. At around 1 am there was quite a piercing industrial noise coming from outside which sounded like a saw mill, and the noise penetrated the double glazed windows waking us up. This lasted on and off for well over an hour. The double glazing also seemd to do little to lessen the noise of passing traffic in the morning and one of the shutters did not fit the window properly, letting light in. So we had a rather poor night's sleep. The breakfast was disappointing for an hotel of this price. One would expect a buffet but there was none. Bread and croissants, a tiny bowl of fruit salad and an equally small bowl of apple compote, a pot of yoghourt, eggs any way you like and cereal if you want it, but no fresh fruit, or smoked salmon or cheese etc. For 23 euros it seemed poor value.

We offer Nuxe products (a french compagny). You can ask to the reception if you want more product, we will give them to you with pleasure. Every morning, it is "à la carte" breakfast and at will. It is composed of 23 products fresh, local, biological and/for handmade such as : croissant, honey, dried fruits, grain loaf sliced, local jam, home made stewed apples, fresh "baguette" bread, organic butter and yoghurt, seasonal fresh fruits, home made cake, tea, coffees, hot chocolate; fruit juices, eggs, cooked meats, cheeses, cereals. The price of the breakfast is 23 euros. It can be served into the room, in the breakfast room or in the courtyard if the weather is good. Looking forward to welcome tou for your next stay in Troyes.

Excellent stay. Beautiful hotel right next to cathedral. Lovely decor. Interesting and pretty town. Good food but expensive. Would stay again but probably eat elsewhere.

Arrived early evening, staff couldn't have been more helpful in the whole check in process including helping us with unloading our luggage and bringing it up to our room. Also providing an excellent room service meal as after a long drive we could not face going out for a meal.

A perfect stay in Troyes
The hotel is perhaps the most charming place imaginable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a beautifully renovated 16th century inn with a central courtyard. The room was spacious and comfortable. Best, the restaurant was superb. I couldn't have been happier with my meal. The chef kept checking on me and other diners. The hotel is a block from the cathedral and couldn't be more conveniently situated.

Beautiful Hotel
We love this hotel. Have been several times and each time we have a wonderful relaxing time in beautiful surroundings. We can't fault it, the rooms are quirky, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the head chef is a larger than life character. We always treat our stay as the official start of our holiday and have also been to appreciate the nearby cathedral which is amazing to view. Strongly recommended.

A charming sixteenth century jewel
The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the old town. The building dates back to the sixteenth century and has been beautifully restored. The restaurant is charming and the meal was exceptional. I do not eat meat so the chef went out of his way to prepare a special fish dish for me, which was just perfect. All the team are very friendly and welcoming

Service was fantastic, staff were superb, hotel is completely beautiful and dinner was delicious. My room was also very pretty and clean. Only problems were no air conditioning (38 degrees that day) and no shower in my bathroom. At a different time of year those points would be ok, but it made for a very hot night in the middle of summer. Still, a lovely hotel and I would stay again, but perhaps not in August. Dinner was magnificent though!

Food worth the trip!
Welcome excellent. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Restaurant and chef superb, worthy of one or two Michelin stars. It was most unfortunate that the fire alarm went off at 2:40 AM and it took almost an hour to silence it. We were very surprised that the manager/ owner did not offer something as simple as an apology or a cup of coffee or a croissant to compensate for the inconvenience when we checked out the next morning. One cannt prevent things from going wrong but it is how they are dealt with that matters.

We stayed in Troyes on a stopover and this hotel was a lovely place to start our holiday. We arrived on Sunday evening when their restaurant is closed, so they suggested and booked an excellent brasserie in town for us. The hotel is a wonderful ancient building, beautifully restored and spotlessly clean. Expensive but interesting breakfast.

Hotel is ideally located and beautiful with lovely decor and high quality furnishings. Troyes is a lovely place and highly recommended. We were in a room in the roof and the heat was phenomenal. Yes, it was hot outside, but inside was like being in an oven and there was only one noisy fan to be used. We paid 308 euro per night so it is expensive however on top of that the hotel will charge 20 euro extra for breakfast, 15 euro if you can't get a parking place in the street and despite us booking a suite because we wanted an extra bed they were going to charge 40 euro for the extra bedding! At that price I would expect any bedding and breakfast to be included. So yes, it's lovely but I also felt that they were trying to squeeze every additional euro out if us that they could. However, do go to Troyes, you won't be disappointed!

Lovely historical building of great charm
Beautiful building with well appointed rooms decorated with care and charm, excellent service and top quality bedding. Only downsides were wifi didn't work in my bedroom (fine in other parts of the hotel) and that there is no air-con (we didn't need it, but could be an issue in the summer).

We booked the hotel on your site and got the confirmation. Unfortunately, on arriving there was no room for us. The hotel had no information about our reservation, we're suggested two rooms instead of one. So we had to pay more. Nevertheless the hotel was good.

fabulous hotel and wonderful staff
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was so spacious, the linens were clean and crisp, the views were tremendous (castle outside our room!), and the wifi signal was strong. All in all, a terrific experience! Book it!
