Je tenais à faire un commentaire concernant une réservation en juin à Fontana vecchia -Castellana Grotte. Tout d'abord pour rappel, le site se trouve en pleine campagne et n'est pas du tout indiqué pour un GPS, ce qui m'a fait tourné dans tout les sens durant 1 heure! Enfin en arrivant sur place, je n'était pas attendu, j'ai dû téléphoner et attendre 1 heure l'arrivée des proprios! Enfin à ma grande surprise, lorsqu'on m'a proposé le logement, j'ai constaté que ce n'était pas un Trulli, mais "une simple chambre exiguë d'environ 9 m2, sans fenêtre", ce n'était pas un Trulli! Il semble que je n'aurai pas réserver de Trulli! En fait les proprios ont introduits des chambres simples et amenés la confusion entre "chambre" et "appartement", l'appartement est un Trulli! C'est pour rire, le client ne peut faire la différence! Loin de ce que l'on peut lire sur leur site, les photos sont belles, mais la réalité est tout autre! Enfin après une heure de discutions sous la chaleur, de politesses irrespectueuses, les valises qui chauffaient dans la voiture, et de longs débats par téléphone, j'ai décidé faute de recevoir un TRULLI, de quitter cet endroit sans avoir satisfaction ni remboursement!

Fantastic room in a traditional trulli, lovely swimming pool, gorgeous breakfast . Host gave lots of suggestions for restaurants and areas to visit. Can’t think how it could be improved in anyway.

Paradise in Puglia
Stayed 3 nights in July, 2018 in one of their Truli rooms. Family run B&B where you are welcomed as a friend. Set in an orchard of olive and fruit trees you feel you are in an exlusive, private farm. Breakfast was served on the back terrace and changed every morning with different pastries, cheese, jams, eggs, etc. Having the large pool was a bonus after touring the area and then cooling off and relaxing poolside. Location is perfect as Alberobello, Castellane Grotte and Putignano easily within a 15 minute drive. Adriatic beaches near Monopoli only a 25 minute drive. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Fontana Vecchia and recommend staying here.

Peaceful and beautiful
Best Trulli to stay in! Quiet and secluded but not too far away from the main attractions! Very accommodating to our late arrival and fantastic breakfast each morning! Two things to update would be their wifi and a good cleaning of the floors, other than those issues, we will be back. My son also left a small toy and the owners are mailing it back to us! Superb family!

Had a weeks stay here commencing 1 sept. Absolutely loved everything about it, the location, hosts, food and sights. Although a car is a necessity. Will definitely return.

A delightful Trullo
Staying in an authentic trullo is different. By its nature it is a small (i.e. Cosy) room, and watch your head visiting the bathroom. To stay here, you have to drive down a narrow track for about a quarter of a mile, and you are therefore isolated....so peaceful. There is a lovely pool there, but it was mid October, so too cold. Because it was mid October, it was a little chilly....a request for heating had all hands to the pump getting the heating on, so it was warm when we returned from our evening meal. Breakfast was a delight, with personal service, local delicacies prepared by the hosts, etc. It seemed, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Beautiful Italian Country Bed & Breakfast
The breakfasts and accommodation here are fantastic. We were a family of three (two adults and a five year old) and we had a lovely trullo with a King sized double and great adventurous mezzanine for our son. The trullo has a basic kitchen in which we could make pasta or have a supper of cold meats and bread (all you need really in the heat!) and the beds, bathroom and other facilities were very comfortable. The thing that stood out more than anything though were the breakfasts which were truly (no pun intended!) authentically Italian. Every morning you get introduced to a new local cheese with local ham, homemade jams, pastries, local biscuits, bread and the best espresso homemade of course. The owners took real pride in making you feel comfortable and on the day we left they even brought us breakfast to our room as we were leaving early. This is a great find and we recommend it!

It was so relaxing to stay here, and the staff were very kind. Breakfast is made from local town treats or homemade Treats from the owners!! Italian hotels don't always have the best beds, but this was better than most!

Once in a lifetime experience...worth it!
We booked thinking we were getting a tulli room, not realizing that not all the rooms were tulli...we thought we were getting a standard tulli room. Wrong. For almost double the cost, we slept in a tulli room. A very comfortable room. The breakfast was awesome. Not the easiest place to find, way out in the country. A GPS would have been handy. Once in a lifetime experience...worth it!!

Alberobello Surprise
A great location to relax in the country side and still be in close proximity to the tourist sites. The host Biaggio and his wife were excellent hosts. I would rate the breakfast 10 out of 10. From fresh apple or pear tarts using fruit from the trees on the farm to two types of cheeses to zucchini frittata to coffee, tea and juice.

Stayed in the family suite, nice and spacious. Great scenery, garden full of fruit trees, a nice pool. Lovely authentic Italian style breakfast. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Seems to be in the middle of nowhere but it was an awesome experience. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Trulli nice
If you don't have a GPS this trulli B&B might be difficult, especially at night as we learned from a group who was staying here at the same time. There are 2 small blue signs leading to the B&B but they're a bit confusing. The key to finding this B&B is entering the road Canale di Pirro in Castellana Grotte on the GPS (as most of the places on this road do not have the typical numbered address) and keeping a close eye on the signs. Once you turn into the right road, you're in for one bumpy ride until you get to the B&B entrance about 1/4 mile on the left. The property itself is beautiful and very peaceful with lots of fruit and olive trees. Plenty of parking. Our trulli was nice but small, particularly the bathroom. My husband had to watch his head as he went into the bathroom as the clearance was low. Our bed was comfortable but was a bit noisy and moved a lot. I think it probably could use a rug underneath it to solve the problem. The salt pool was very nice and was the barbecue area. We had a wonderful breakfast on the back patio each morning served by the owners, who were both very gracious. Despite the problem finding this B&B, it is conveniently located to many of the Adriatic's tourist sites- Alberobello Trulli district, Matera, Lecce, Ostuni.

It was our first night on our journey in Puglia and first time in trulli. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed beautiful pool and trulli. It is a big property with olive and fruit trees and the owner with his wife is very friendly and answered all our questions. We would love to come back one day.

Truly a memorable evening in a Trulla
We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the cutest little Trulla at Fontina Vecchia! Our room and bathroom were spotless, and perfectly appointed with so much charm! We were served an amazing home cooked breakfast in a beautiful room overlooking olive groves and orchards. If you are on a driving tour, this is the perfect place to stay, away from the crowds in Alberobello.

great hosts for an unforgetable trullo experience
Hosts are very nice in guiding u to the facility. Breakfast is solid with omelette/quiche, delicious pie and such. There's a grotte e trulli card they give u which can get u 3 euro off admission to the grotto. Staying in a trullo is an experience which my husband and I really enjoyed. The only compliant is that we found 2 decent sized bugs on the bed and 1 more on the shelf. This did not bother us but maybe it would for others.

Amazing service!
The hosts were amazing. When we arrived we were offered café and lemon cheesecake. The property and rooms were pristine. We borrowed the bikes and took a ride through the beautiful countryside. Such a great location. Hospitality and breakfast are top notch. I will recommend this place to friends and family.

El lugar es muy bonito, rodeado de naturaleza, muy tranquilo,. El anfitrión es muy amable, muy buen desayuno. Lo único que piendo podría ser mejor ee la señal de wifi, es muy débil, pero se entiende por la ubicación del alojamiento.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in guter Lage zu Alberobello
Einfach traumhaft so ein Trullo und ein besonders schönes Erlebnis. Das Frühstück wurde vom sehr zuvorkommenden und netten Gastgeber direkt an das Trullo gebracht, da wegen der besonderen Umstände (Corona) noch etwas Vorsicht herrschte. Das Frühstück am Trullo in der herrlichen Anlage mit blühenden Kirschbäumen war nicht zu toppen. Schade, dass wir nur zwei Nächte hier waren.Irgendwann, ab Mitte Mai, wenn die Kirschen reif sind, kehren wir bestimmt mal wieder zurück. Alberobello, viele Trulli und das Meer (Monopoli - sehr nett) sind in guter erreichbarer Nähe.

Posto incantevole. Struttura immersa nella campagna, semplice ed originale, serenità e aria pura, colazione favolosa a base di prodotti locali genuini e gustosissimi! Notre séjour est mitigé. Nous avions réservé 7 nuits pour 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants). En arrivant, nous aurions apprécié avoir au moins une bouteille d'eau dans le frigo mais rien n'a été proposé (contrairement à la plupart des précédents hôtes que nous avons eus et qui nous accueillaient avec eau, fruits, etc...). Le trullo était bien aménagé mais manquait de rangements pour les vêtements et rien sur la mezzanine pour les enfants. Le 2e jour de notre arrivée, les enfants et mon mari faisaient des plongeons dans la piscine (je précise qu'il n'y avait pas d'autres personnes présentes) et ont donc mouillés un peu les abords...Bref, le propriétaire est venu nous voir afin de nous dire d'arrêter!...Le 3e jour, nous nous sommes aperçus que la piscine était habitée: des petites bêtes s'accrochaient à mon maillot de bains...J'ai immédiatement averti le propriétaire qui a été étonné et a réagi rapidement en achetant un produit le lendemain et en traitant sa piscine. Pour nous remercier, il nous a offert une bouteille de vin! Concernant le petit déjeuner, ne pensez pas le prendre tôt pour partir en visite avant le flot de touristes ou tard en faisant une grasse matinée: il est servi entre 8h30 et 9h30 précises! Quant à son contenu, rien de bien exceptionnel (un seul jus de fruits industriels et peu de produits faits maisons hormis l'omelette...). Le cadre est charmant et reposant, la femme du propriétaire souriante. Un distributeur payant se trouve à côté de la piscine...

J'ai réalisé que vous étiez contrarié parce que j'ai dit que dans les piscines à débordement, les plongées (celles faites par votre mari et vos enfants à la bombe) sont interdites. Il y avait de l'eau partout. Je suis désolé pour votre déception. Mais vous avez oublié de mentionner qu'il y avait une machine à laver en panne (des précédents clients) et, bien que dimanche, je suis allé en acheter une nouvelle et je l'ai remplacée. Vous avez également oublié le café (même le café décaféiné) ou le limoncello, que je vous ai offert tous les après-midi au bord de la piscine. Pour être précis, les produits pour le petit-déjeuner sont tous faits à la main ou faits maison, à l'exception des jus de fruits, comme tous les autres clients l'ont décrit à profusion. Je suis désolé de ce que vous avez écrit car, comme vous le savez bien, cela ne correspond pas à la réalité. Patience.

Endroit charmant au milieu de la vallée d itria
Agréable séjour dans un appartement type trulli en famille. Au milieu de la campagne, des figuiers et des oliviers,piscine permettant de se relaxer, ce qui est appréciable par cette chaleur.Bien placé pour visiter les environs alberobello, cistermino, locorotondo, martina franca. Resto conseillé par Vincenzo la Nicchia, très bien, à 2 pas d alberobello. Et merci à bingo pour le conseil de visiter Polignano à mare lors de notre jour de départ. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Tout le monde est sympathique Juste revoir au niveau du logement les portes extérieures qui touchent le sol lorsque on les ouvre, quelques pinces à linge, un égouttoir pour les pâtes, table et fer à repasser, et quelques coussins et nappe pour la table extérieure pour les personnes qui séjournent plus longtemps et ce serait parfait. Super séjour dans un trulli très bien reçu par les propriétaires dans une ambiance calme et très sympathique et reposante Le petit déjeuner était très bon Parking possible on peut trouver très facilement les environs sont sympathiques à visiter avec de nombreuses fabriques d huile Si il fallait trouver une amélioration mettre des parois de douche et non un rideau

Magnifique endroit.
Magnifique endroit,les propriétaires sont des personnes adorables nous avons été reçus très chaleureusement pendant notre sejour....comme en famille. Très belle propriété avec une immense piscine,les petits déjeuners sont excellents,goûteux faits maisons,de qualité,différents chaque matin,que du bonheur. Pour les amoureux de tranquillité je recommande à 100%,excellente prestation.
