Nice Family GetawayPosted Jun 18, 2013
We had an amazing time at Sierra Silvana Hotel!! Our family stayed at the hotel for two nights as we toured a little of the boot of Italy. They had a pool, playground equipment and a trampoline for the kids! The kids loved this about the hotel!! We had a quad room which was a little tight at time but this is Europe and not America! The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Excellent experiencePosted Apr 14, 2013
Pros: The overall curtesy and service upon reception and at the restaurant.
Cons: The address listed on the website doesn't coincide with GPS.
Location: It's a tedious drive up the canyons with narrow roads so plan your trip during dry warm weather.
The hotel was beautiful. The restaurant is world class and the service was superb. The only problem is it's difficult to find and the address listed on their web site doesn't jive with GPS. I would suggest he hotel list it's location using GPS coordinates and revise their address to match their actual location.

Did it all, well.Posted Oct 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
Went for a family vacation and it was great. Child friendly, staff friendly, place is absolutely spotless. Food good, and we could go to the hotel restaurant when we wanted for lunch and dinner. Very handy with kids if you don't want to eat out.You need a car to stay here, but that goes for all of this region, you need to explore it. Very close to nice places to visit including the depressing ZooSafari. The rooms are tight for a family bigger than 3, although maybe we would have been put in a bigger room if we were more. Sparse on comfort but thats the italian way I guess. Anyhow we will be back there, brilliant holiday!

great for familiesPosted Oct 22, 2012
Just come back from 1 week in this hotel. Great hotel if you have small children. Lovely play area. The place is kept very clean. They have a partner hotel where you can go and sit on their private beach.

Great for families!Posted Jul 9, 2012
This is a great hotel with very friendly staff. We loved it. The breakfast is fine. Not amazing, but definitely enough variety. The rooms are very good. The only problem we had was with the fridge in the room. It was not cold at all. They changed it, but the new one was the same. Besides this, it was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is on top of the mountain, so if you plan on going to the beach, you might need a car to move around the area and to go to the beach. The sister hotel has an amazing beach and it is free to use. That is like 20 minutes away by car. The area has great places to visit, worth renting a car. Some restaurants around the hotel and also a small shop to buy water and small things. The pool is very very nice! Great place! we loved it!

ok stayPosted May 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
Neat hotel. Front desk did not know how to access the WiFi. Only 2 outlets in the room and both being used. Close to the trulli homes and the zoosafari. Breakfast buffet was amazing.

Perfectly comfortable hotel and incredibly clean. If you stay there, don't miss the fabulous restaurant (Il Fagiano) next door.

Good hotel - location too remotePosted Jun 3, 2011
We stayed for 4 nights and the hotel was lovely. The staff could have been a bit more helpful but the real problem was the location. Just too remote.
