the room was way to small, the beds where way to hard there where bricks holding up the bed. When you turned on the aircondition it smelled. out in the hall of the hotel it smelled like cigerates.

Best value

Posted Nov 11, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: They had morning coffee, but no decaf
Due to our limited income we often stay at low in Motel 6's. The motel at T or C is the best "6" we have ever stayed in. With out a dough the best value.

Just a place to sleep.

Posted Aug 9, 2012
Room / Hotel = Compared to other Motel 6, this place is very outdated. Big bulky television sets, old and stiff comforters, old a/c, old carpet, old bathroom fixtures, etc. These don't really matter if you're just there to sleep or have no other place to stay. Ice machine was broken (it was not fixed the entire three days I stayed). Staff = The staff were friendly. There's a guy that wears a funny hat...not sure what that's about. There was a situation that required them to contact the manager in the evening (it wasn't really late - about 8pm) but the manager was not there and a decision couldn't be made until 8am (when I'm already at work). Conveniences = It was close to where I had to work. There was free internet. AC was cold. It was also close to restaurants and Wal-Mart. Overall experience = Don't expect too much if you're used to nice, modern conveniences.

No air conditioning

Pros: The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Cons: The room was old, dreary and hot.
Location: Location was perfect because the reunion I was attending was being held across the street from motel.
Reservations were not properly entered but this might be a problem with Expedia personnel that made arrangements. Staff at hotel was friendly and courteous In dealing with reservation discrepancies. This is the only positive about the hotel. The room was hot. When I complained, I was told the owner didn't want the air kept on when rooms were vacant and to give it a few hours to cool down. The room was dreary but clean. I was also told I'd been given the hottest and most difficult to cool room. With the temperature outdoors over 100 degrees matching the inside temperature of my room, When the room was finally cooled down, we experienced more problems, the room became too cold. There was no way to adjust settings. The night was spent adjusting the temperature in the room. When it became too cold we turned the unit off. When it became too warm, we turned on the Air. I would have happily left to another hotel, except there were no rooms available anywhere in the city.

Motel 6, Truth or Consequences, NM

Only problems were that the tub faucet was dripping a steady stream and the TV was black and white. Convenient to Denny's and McDonald's.

Never return to a Motel 6!

Posted Sep 8, 2010
In addition to traveling an extra 20 minutes in pitch darkness looking for the motel and then retracing our tracks, stopping at McDonald's to find Motel 6, we were told it was right next door! The clerk was undoubtedly aware she hadn't flipped the switch when we told her; in fact, we doubt if she knew the slogan of Tom Bodet (sp?) of "We'll leave the light on for you." There was a small refrigerator and large tv in our room; our companions had nothing extra. I am not sure if there was supposed to be ice or anything else but we had nothing with us anyway to refrigerate. The room was heavy and stuffy. The only item of hygiene provided was two bars of soap but maybe they don't supply more and that is why they are supposedly cheaper! It will take a long time before I consider a Motel 6 if ever I have to travel a distance again. That day we traveled 12 hours to attend a funeral service and did look forward to a bit more comfort than was provided. Sorry to say this but ...
