Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade Tours

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade showing street scenes, a bay or harbor and a city
Choose one or more items to build your trip:
See the night sky light up in a symphony of light and sound, enjoy opera, art and theater, or simply stroll along one of the world’s most spectacular harbor-fronts.

Stretch your legs on Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade and take in the unforgettable views across Victoria Harbour. This picturesque pedestrian concourse takes in some of Hong Kong’s best attractions, and attracts crowds for its incredible light and sound show each night.

Follow the promenade from west to east, passing through the Avenue of Stars. Hong Kong was once known as the “Hollywood of the East” and this collection of celebrity handprints, plaques and memorials pays tribute to the territory’s film heritage. Have your photo taken next to the life-sized statue of one of Hong Kong’s favorite sons, the kung fu legend Bruce Lee. Visit on Saturday nights to see various musical performances here.

Stop by the Hong Kong Museum of Art to explore an impressive collection of painting, sculpture and calligraphy that spans all movements in Chinese cultural history. Just next door, enjoy the interactive exhibits and 3D cinema in the Hong Kong Space Museum.

Use the promenade as a pleasant entree or finale to a performance at the Hong Kong Cultural Center. This impressive modernist building stages world class ballet, opera and musicals.

The views from Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade are memorable at any time of day, particularly in the early morning and evening. At sunset, head down to the promenade with your camera to capture the soaring skyline of Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbour light up.

Every night as 8pm approaches, hundreds gather for the Symphony of Lights show. This light and sound spectacle, featuring lasers and music, brings the harbor to life and features themes that celebrate human energy and spirit.

After the show, choose from the many restaurants in the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui just north of the promenade. There’s also plenty of benches along the promenade, so pack a picnic and enjoy the views with someone special.

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade sits at the tip of Kowloon Peninsula, facing Hong Kong Island’s Central district. Catch the Star Ferry from Central to the ferry terminal on Tsim Sha Tsui and enjoy one of the world’s most scenic ferry rides.
