“Great Hotel”

This is a great hotel to stay at!!! The rooms are nice, free internet access in the room, and great contiental breakfast. It is a five mile drive to the Marta Station(Indian Creek). I drive from Columbia,SC to this hotel every year to go to the Atlanta Braves game. Housekeeping daily is a plus too. Alot of resturants are located within 2 miles: Picadilly's, IHOP, Waffle House, Red Lobster, O'Charley's, Taco Bell. A nice quiet area to stay at too!!!

“Disappointment!”

I have stayed in this facility several times in the past. Since my last stay, the condition of this particular Country Inn has deteriorated significantly. The grill at the bathroom exhaust was caked with dust, the carpets were dirty and just for good measure, the soap bar from a previous guest was still in the shower! My visit was in the spring which was unseasonably warm. I set the air conditioning unit controls for "Hi Cool" and turned the thermostat to the coldest position. In spite of this setting, the room never got comfortable.

“avoid this hotel at all cost”

This was the worst hotel ever booked through expedia. when I first arrived, I noticed the location. not safe at all. very inconvenient to stone mountain. not many restraurants around. parking lot of hotel was full of garbage scattered around. went inside -very small lobby. the "customer service clerk" barely spoke to me, was rude and made no eye contact. she sent me to my room. I went up to the floor and the elevator and the temperature of the floor was very hot.. at least 85 to 90 degrees with no working air. went into my room and it was filthy. had not been cleaned at all. went back down and she tried to find another room but seemed to have no idea which room may be clean so she had to physically go upstairs to find a clean room for us. there were only 5 cars in the parking lot by the way. hardly no one stays here and I can see why. not sure how a place like this can even end up on expedia. wish expedia had some sort of screening process to select better hotels than this one. also could have sworn there were bedbugs. something was biting me all night. flees or bedbugs. what a nightmare.
