“Would stay again”

Hotel was centrally located. Rooms were clean and comfortable.. There was a nice breakfast in the morning, not only continental but eggs and waffles as well. This is our second trip here , a great location.

“Almost Perfect”

We liked almost everything about this hotel, but we were located (rm 217) a bit too close to an elevator or something that made a rather loud noise every so often. You might want to ask for a room in a different location.

Area recommendations

North side of Tucson is nice. Be sure to get up early and take a walk into Sabino Canyon before it gets hot.

“Good basic hotel”

This hotel met our needs for a basic place to stay while in town for a wedding. It had what you need, including quite a decent breakfast. The staff members were very nice, and the location worked perfectly for us.

“Good deal in Sabina Canyon”

This hotel met my expectations. The breakfast was good with lots of choices, the pool area was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I did find it hard to get into or out of because of the divided highway at this location. During peak traffic times it was tricky for tourists who don't know the layout and the u-turns necessary to head in the correct direction confused my GPS!

“A pleasant stay”

This was a very pleasant and reasonably priced place to stay. the small courtyard arrangement of rooms was imaginative and delightful to behold. The courtyard where my room was featured small fountian in the middle, decforative tiles and a large flowering tree that was talled than the building. The tree was ciovered with pink rose-like flowers. There is much to recommend this place and only serious nitpicking to find anything undesibable..

Area recommendations

Both sections of the Siguaro Nat. Park are excellent takes. Don't miss the Sonoran Museum and Gardens.

“decent place for the price”

The hotel was clean and convenient. The breakfast was really nice, considering it is free. The room was comfortable. My only complaint would be that I had a room with the window facing the courtyard, so i could never open the curtains, which left the room dark even during the day time. Otherwise, a good place for the money.

“Nice interior landscaping”

Overall not a bad hotel. Pool a bit small and by afternoon no sun. Laundry facilities were not working but the staff did offer the services of the hotel's laundry room. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Breakfast was available but don't expect a banquet. Surrounding area was busy but offered different restaurants and activities. Nice view of mountain range was nice.

“Worked out fine”

The hotel is in a nice area with lots of places to eat, stores, etc. We checked in at 2:30 am. There was someone at the desk who was helpful, without taking to long, so we could go to sleep. The room was in a quiet spot, which we requested. It was on the ground level in the corner of the last courtyard. It had a musty smell, and when we turned on the heat, it really smelled of burning dust. The room was a bit worn out and dingy. The next morning I asked to change rooms, and they were very helpful and nice about this. The new room was a fair amount better. It was on the 2nd floor. No bad smells, not worn out, and some natural light. The bed was comfortable, although a bit soft. The bathroom was fine. Internet worked good. The breakfast was standard fare for a deluxe hot buffet. A bunch of choices, although they didn't do a great job keeping it stocked. Parking was convenient. The breakfst area, which is also the reception area/front desk was really a nice place to hang out. The courtyards were attractive and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed something.

Must see

Saguaro National Park, especially the one on the east side of Tucson is great. It's so easy to get to, and the scenic loop drive is lovely. Taking short hikes and walks is nice. Be sure to stop in the visitors center for information, and see the film if you can. Drive up Mt. Lemon. Great views! A cute little town at the top. If it has been cool or cold, check to make sure the road is open.

“A great place to stay in Tucson!”

This is a very nice hotel. This was our first stay at a Comfort Suites, and we will definitely stay again. All the room faced a lovely courtyard. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Area recommendations

The Pima Air and Space Museum and the Titan Missile Site are well worth the visit. Old Tucson is pricey, but interesting.
