We loved the courtyard that was out side our door.

Pros: The Old Tucson feel.
Location: Close to every thing we needed.
Everything, staff, breakfast, pool area, were terrific. There were two chairs in the room, but I would have preferred an overstuffed one. Next time we stay in Tucson it will be here but in a larger room. Loved the staff.!!!!

Pros: Great breakfast. Clean in every way.
Close to several good restaurants. Try the Eclectic Cafe just on the other side of Big Lots. Truly original and excellent food.

Accommodations

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Location, clean, friendly, free wi-fi, fridge, microwave
Cons: Noise level, thin walls but with the a/c on at night we heard less and slept better, not too bad
Location: Pinnacle Peak and Trail Dust Town were fun and interesting. Millie's Pancake Haus was delicious and homey.
We were looking for something in that area, inexpensive, clean and friendly

Tucson bead show motel

Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Staff was friendly and breakfast was ok.
Cons: Carpet needed updating and bathtub was dirty.
Location: Good Mexican restaurant across the street. Motel was easy to get to.
The bathtub was dirty and a red light on the tv was on all night and when you moved a blinking green light came on. It was ok, but for over $300. for 2 nites, I'd try somewhere else next time. The breakfast was fine and the motel staff was friendly. Motel is located in a strip mall parking lot.

Nice Overall Impression

Posted Feb 2, 2015 on Hotels.com
This hotel is handy for visiting the NE end of the area, including Sabino Canyon. It takes about 25 minutes to make your way there from I10. The lobby faces out to a shopping center so we were a little concerned when we first pulled in. However, we were relieved that all the rooms face pleasant looking interior courtyards. If you are on the second level there is one centrally located elevator that can be used, or you can use the steps in your section. Our room was clean and well maintained and quiet at night. I only heard a dog bark twice during our 3 day stay. The K bed was comfortable, but it had very a heavy weight, duvet style cover and the bottom “fitted” sheet did not seem to fit very well. The TV was small, and I had to figure out how to adjust the sound setting on the TV set audio menu. I mentioned this as we left, and the staff seemed genuinely concerned that the condition be corrected in the future. The breakfast was good but crowded since the hotel was full and the cool/rainy weather kept people from spreading to the tables outside. The complimentary newspapers were always gone early. To their credit, after I complained, they increased the order. There is a happy hour in the evening. The wine is roughly restaurant priced since it is served in such a small glass. Anyway, we were pretty pleased with our stay. The staff was always attentive and friendly during our 3 day visit.

Nice Find in Tucson

Good comfortable bed, clean room, decent breakfast buffet, responsive management. Convenient location for our purposes. Nice regional theme in decor--hacienda style.
