“My opinion”
I only go to the cheapest hotels, so I was actually really impressed by this hotel. Turns out it's not even near the cheapest hotel, just the cheapest on expedia. But, I thought it was clean, safe, in a good place for where I needed to be. I had a single which I thought was like a great studio apartment. They even provide you with dishes and pots and pans. The shower was warm enough, but shot water into my eye in every direction, which was annoying. Its a weekly hotel, not a nightly, so it has some people who seem to live there. There was a dog nearby that was a bit loud. The bed was a nice hard, comfy bed (if that's what you're into). I saw a small beetle in my place once, but it was really clean. I saw a review that said the shower was tiny. Knowing there isn't a tub, I thought it was going to be tiny but there is a small seat in there and it's big enough to comfortably shave your legs. I thought it was great.
“Great Hotel”
The rooms are great with the small kitchenette. Very few utensils for cooking but you can manage. Quiet area and very centurally located for all kinds of attractions and shopping. Will return for sure.
“Not the place to stay”
Mattress was torn, floor molding ripped, beds uncomfortable, etc. What a dump!
“I've seen better looking crack houses”
Bed was uncomfortable and had bloodstains on the sheet and pillowcase. Stayed 8 days and maid service only cleaned and brought towels once. Any other hotel in town would be better than this place.
“it was ok”
far from local entertainment
“check it before you check in”
when i did get into a room, it was clean expect for the floor. it had what seem to be gravel. like some one had walked in the dirt and then took there shoes off and just sprinkled a little bit there. other then that, everything else was ok. The only reason why i didn't go to another hotel was because of the distance and they refused a refund. I have never had an exp like this before.
“it's fine for the price”
It's close enough to the airport, the price is rock bottom, and the beds feel the same. It's fine for one night. If a non-smoker, don't take a smoking room. I've never been in a room without someone smoking that smelled so bad.
“Budget perfect”
I thought the room was fine. It was small but really liked having a kitchenette. The location was ok too. We were headed to the U of A and it didn't take long to get there. There is no housekeeping during your stay which I didn't realize. You could go to the desk to get more coffee if you wanted though for your room. We had a maintenance problem with the refrigerator. They said they fixed it but hadn't. At that point, there was no one around until the next day. So, there's not a lot of service or ammenities there but if you are looking for a great rate with a kitchenette, it is perfect. Oh, mentioned be ore that there is a noise problem, trains and thin walls.
“Strictly economy”
Crosslands suited our need for one night; an evening event nearby. Otherwise this place would be unacceptable for any reason except economy. Room is quite small for just hanging out there. The bed is really too small for two persons, an undersized double that my wife found uncomfortably hard. Nice to have a kitchenette, and coffee in the morning in the room. Internet access costs extra.
“WORSE HOTEL IN ARIZONA”
stay away. manager is rude and cusses @ you like a sailor. no mattress on bed...2 box springs!! NASTY HOTEL...you would better off in prostitute district!!!
