This property is dirty and unsafe. The property allows homeless people to loiter. The TV did not work. The room was noisy because my room faced the freeway. The carpet was dirty, visibly dirty. Tiles in the bathroom floor were loose and were a hazard. Housekeeping did not clean our room for what reason I don't know. We did not leave the "do not disturb" sign on the door. The staff was rude with the exception of Friday's morning crew who were very nice and professional. We left Saturday morning at 6 a.m., we recovered our $50 deposit, and the lady at the front desk did not even thank us for our stay and acted as if we were making her go above and beyond. To be honest, it was a really unfortunate experience and I would not recommend the hotel to anyone who is expecting even the the most minimal customer service. Expedia, I finally realized, will not resolve any issue that the customer has with the hotel. Expedia is only a payment platform and does not fix any problems. I have had other issues in the past and Expedia has never found solutions. I would recommend to folks that they make reservations directly with the hotels so that when there is a problem the hotel brand or reservation system takes responsibility and can take some kind of action and resolve problems. The answer from Expedia is always "we can't do anything."
