“Good Service/Great Cookies”

Although only a two night stay, everything was top notch. The room (especially the bed and pillows) was comfortable, and Doubletree's trademark warm chocolate chip cookies were fabulous as usual.

“Tucson Doubletree”

Generally fine. Lovely courtyard. Pleasant room. Window opened. Oddities: no exhaust fan in bathroom; bathroom rather dark. And a $9.50/day charge for internet service? Give me a break.

“Liked the hotel, but there were others more convenient”

This hotel wasn't the most convenient for the for the University of Arizona events. We got a little lost getting to the hotel, but once we found it we were fine getting around to the surrounding area. We liked the gym and the pool but our room was on the far back area not close to the pool. We were put on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator, we were helped to room on the first floor upon request. The breakfast was a little pricey but was good. Overall, for what we came for we were satisfied.

“Reasonable, but not outstanding”

Visiting the university, so this was a bit far away. Rooms were fine, but they are in separate buildings surrounding a central park w/ pool. Some of the outer buildings (including mine) were right across a driveway from an apartment complex. IMO, this was a security risk. On the third day, my room was not cleaned as they mistakenly thought I was checking out.

“wonderful, clean, beautiful place to stay.”

teh room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. large well appointed bathroom, wonderful pool, quiet rooms. enjoyed our stay very much. felt very luxurious.

“Quick Trip Great Stay”

Good value - huge lcd tv and nice desk to work on meant I could hole up for hours here before and after meetings. Used lobby and restaurant for additional meetings and also enjoyed those areas.

“Hotel DoubleTree a Security Risk”

The front desk mis-keyed our room. About 10pm on Saturday night the guests in the room next to us opened out hotel room door. The only thing that stopped them from entering was the latch that moves across the top of the door. I reported this to the hotel and the manager said she would credit us one night stay and our breakfast the next morning but they did not.

“We'll stay here again”

We were very pleased with the hotel and the lovely heated outdoor pool, which was open even in chilly February. The staff was very pleasant. We would certainly stay here again.

Area recommendations

The Reid Park Zoo was small, but very excited for our 5 year old. We also had a wonderful time at the Sonora Desert Museum.
