BewarePosted Mar 11, 2014
This is a run down Marriott. The rooms need major work. The shower above ours leaked into our bathroom with every use of water. It was a nightmare! The room was noisy too. Disappointed in Marriott to have their name on this one!

Hotel is along the ave with a dozen others virtualPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: not much
Cons: virtually everything, especially for the price $90
The hotel itself was just OK, nothing great, nothing really poor except the morning buffet, it was pretty poor. Insufficient stock of items and I was down there early with only a few customers present. I've had much better buffets in $30 motels. i would not recommend this place. The acoustics were also poor, you can hear everything next, and above you.

Pros: Location, free parking, felt safe.
Cons: New mattresses...ow!
Location: Airport, kino sports complex.
It was a room, not too far from things we were doing but nothing that screamed "excellent". Truth be told, I've paid a lot less for much better. Staff seemed disinterested more just going through the motions and the breakfast attendant couldn't be bothered. Not saying it was a horrible experience, but it wasn't anything I'd write home about. A warning...if you book and pay online, make sure you still have a credit card so they can place a hold for "incidental" charges. Not sure what that might be, no mini-bar, most have personal cell phones for long distance and its easy enough to not activate pay channels until you want it. This caused a huge issue for us on check-in as we do most of our transactions in cash and staff wasn't apologetic, or willing to make any alternative arrangements so we had to take extra time running around a town we don't know to get things sorted out. Topping it off, over 24 hours after checkout the hold charge still hasn't been released. I expect to have a copy of my card to be held with specific criteria of what they're holding it for but got nothing but a nebulous non-explanation. After being a victim of identity theft this makes very suspicious.

One Night In TucsonPosted Feb 7, 2014
Flight was delayed and I got in late. Staff was very friendly and very quick about checking me in. I believe the hotel boasted a continental breakfast, but when I got to the lobby they had waffles, eggs and sausage. it was a very nice surprise. Checking out, staff was also very friendly. I would stay here more often. I like the room and convenience. Over all, highly recommend!

Close to I-10Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Coffee always on, breakfast was good.
Location: Location was good not too far from I10, we were on a road trip.
Phoned desk to tell them the toilet was plugged, said they would be up shortly, which they were & handed me a plunger, I had to unplug the toilet myself. Felt I should have had plumbers fees taken off my bill. The carpet in the hallways & elevator were discussing, worn out & filthy. Always thought that all Marriott hotels were top rated hotels, that was a great disappointment.

We were 5 of us and wanted to fill a flask with hot water, the front desk lady did not allow to use hot water present in the lobby saying it might be finished. Any other motel/ hotel would have provided us with hot drinking water We also found bathroom not properly cleaned.

Our stay was fine. The room was clean and quiet. The included breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel shuttle was very responsive. We were grateful the hotel was available.
