"Small Comfortable Resort"
The Lodge on the Desert is a comfortable resort close to shopping and restaurants. It has a small feel with great staff. Hope at the front desk is great! The food at the restaurant is very good for all meals of the day, but prepare to wait a little longer than usual for the food to arrive.

"Relaxing vacation"
The rooms are spacious; we used both the pull-out sofa and a roll-away and we still weren't bumping into each other. The king-size bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom door squeaked, but when we mentioned it to the staff, they took care of it right away. Breakfast isn't super-cheap, but it's delicious and very relaxing to sit outside by the pool and enjoy it. (Or there's a nearby Starbucks.) While in Tucson, check out the Desert Museum, Titan Missile Museum (yes, there's still a missile in there - great for teaching your kids about the Cold War), and/or the Old Tucson Studio.

"Very clean, nice lobby and excellent hospitality!"
Child friendly hotel, close to the I-10. Very clean environment. Edward and Maria were very nice. My toddler got sick before bedtime and they were very understanding, Edward brought me clean linens and fresh towels so we didn't have to sleep in stench. (My toddler was car sick from the long drive from San Antonio, Texas to Tuscon, AZ. I will recommend to all my family and friends. Thanks for the great experience!

"A Taste of Old Tucson"
We booked a room for visitors from Germany. This was their first time in Tucson. They loved the ambience, the friendliness of the staff and, of course the absolutely beautiful setting with the views of the mountains, the landscape and so many other attributes. Their visit was too short, but they loved it.

"Wonderful Hotel"
My daughter and grandkids came for a long weekend. They brought their dog also. The hotel was very nice, quiet and the kids loved the pool and hot tub. The kids were able to get to sleep at night and there wasn't any noise from the pool area even with the window open at night. The sit down breakfast included in the room rate was really good - lots of food, cooked to order and the wait staff was really friendly and especially friendly to the kids. The cleaning crew was also friendly and very helpful during our visit. All in all - it was a great stay. We will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises.

"Nice hotel"
Nice older hotel close to downtown, well kept and clean. Nice bar and nice pool although we didn't use it as it was 28 degrees in the morning, but there was steam rolling off the pool and one of the attendants said it was always heated. We spent Fri. nite and Sat. nite there. The rates were very reasonable and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Plus they serve a great breakfast buffet and social hour at the bar. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tuscon.
