“Over Rated”

Hotel was out of the way of the airport and not convenient to travel. Restaurant was very over priced for a Holiday Inn. Truly a hotel were the winner was the person that took the hotel pictures because when you get there the hotel is not the one in the pictures. The lobby was cold and there were definitely cleanliness issues in rooms and hallways.

“A great hotel experience."”

We stayed only one night as this was just an overnight stop on a long trip. We were very pleased with not only the neighborhood but the hotel too. The hallways are clean but less than impressive. Fortunately the rooms made the difference. Very quiet, clean with every thing working. The beds were great and the plush linens completed the feeling of luxury. The on-site bar/restaurant served a delicious casual meal. This will now be a regular stop on our cross country trips.

“So so nothing extraordinary”

Checking In was routine, we got the floor we wanted and our room was not too far from the elevator. Our floor was quiet, no noises on either walls, relatively quite during our whole stay. Carpet looked like it needed to be shampooed or replaced, wallpaper had some torn places next to the desk, but all the lights worked and the bed was comfy. TV worked well and the wireless internet connection was very good. Our greatest disappointment was the bath tub, which did not drain properly and water would collect up to your ankles as you showered. Bath tub also appeared to have been resurfaced and the paint was beginning to tear up. Understandably, this Hotel was a bit old and may soon need to be renovated.

Area recommendations

This area appeared to be relatively good, far from residences and primarily industrial. Parking lot spaces were ample and well lighted. Hotel was close to the Pima Air Museum and close to several fast food restaurants.

this hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and nice. I would stay here for short term but needs a few more ammenities for long term stay. complimentary breakfast would have been nice.

“Close to airport”

This is a very good hotel if you want to be close enough to the airport for convenience but far enough away that the noise from the airport is not significant. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. The only suggestion I have is that the restaurant needs to be open 24/7 for those that travel on late flight or early morning flights.

“Great Pool Area”

I reserved my room using he feature where you don't find out what hotel until after you buy it. I was very concerned when I found out what hotel and saw the pictures as it looked old and some of the reviews were not flattering. However, when we checked in I was very pleasantly surprised they had a waterfall going inside the lobby and a great little bar and restaurant. When we walked to our room we went thru the pool area which is very large and almost looked like a resort. The hotel room was older but everything was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Anytime I go back to Tucson I will stay at this hotel. One thing is that the restaurant was a little expensive, but for the convenience and the food was good it was worth it.

“overrated”

The hotel had Airport in the name, but was about 5 miles north of the airport which caused me at least a i/2 hour extra time getting lost and found. It appeared stodgy. The bathroom was not very clean on arrival - so much so that I cleaned out the tub myself before taking a shower. It did not appear as well cared for as most 3 star hotels (which is how expedia rated it) This was the first time that I was unpleasantly surprised by a hotline.com booking.

Area recommendations

The neighborhood was ok - near the interstate - southwest of downtown.

“Attentive staff”

I stayed at this hotel with my 10-year-old daughter for one night as we arrived very late and didn't need to get to the ranch where we were staying until the next day. The staff was very professional/helpful and I felt some of them went above and beyond to help us have a fun day before we moved on.

If I had one negitive it would be room service. They were knocking on room doors so loud that it could have woke the dead. After spending most of the night at the Casino I was looking forward to sleeping late...but.....No..Every 5 minutes for over an hour I heard banging on doors saying ROOM SERVICE !!!! But overall it was a very nice hotel !

A very pleasant hotel with great amenities. The beds are very comfortable and the service is exceptional. I heartily recommend staying here.
