Semi-close to the campus.Posted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: It had a pool and somewhat friendly service.
Cons: The place needs to be renovated big time. More appliances, fixed up rooms, the works.
Location: Not much really about the general location. Most of the stuff to do is away from the hotel and near the university.
Well, for one it looked nice on Expedia, until we actually got in there. The place looked half run-down. The bathroom was the worst. The toilet looked like it was from a public restroom. The bathtub was cracking and coming apart, and the handles for the shower had two different knobs on them, one of which came off what I barely turned it! I don't even want to know about cleanliness. And there was practically nothing in the room to redeem it. It didn't even have a microwave or anything to heat up food from the day, let alone a fridge so we couldn't save any food for later from restaurants. The wifi was also terrible beyond comparison. It offers free wifi, as long as you sit in one spot perfectly and don't move. Oh and when you do get more than one bar, and I was lucky enough to find three bars, it decides to never connect to the internet. Yes I want to be doing things around town and stuff like that, but this place made me so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to come back to relax for more than 20 minutes, one time. And that was because I had to forcibly take a shower. Oh and there was bugs. That was the worst.

Great deal...NOTPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Just passing thru Tucson so thought I was getting a deal for $35 a night. Just remember...you get what you pay for. Service was poor, room was smelly and dingy. Won't be staying here ever again.

not really worth itPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room had thorns in the carpet which had been tracked in from the weeds out front, the pool was green and completely unable to be utilized, the amenities which were advertised were not there.

Do not stay.Posted Jul 10, 2013
Cons: The whole facility could use a lot if work. Staff could be more courteous.
Broken beds, filthy carpets, outdated television that was blurry, rude front desk clerk. Tried to use pool but denied due to being cleaned. Left the first night even though we paid for 3 nights. Facilities were in need of repair. I will not even consider staying again.

you get what you pay forPosted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for 3 days for a seminar at the tucson convention center. Very close but there is tons of construction so I should have just stayed somewhere closer and nicer. The complimentary breakfast is a joke.. a loaf of bread and some cereal with milk and weak coffee. The room smelled moldy, very out dated and the door didn't close. It seriously looked like somewhere kicked it in or something... scary for a female by herself far from home. They switched my room which was nice. Overall you get what you pay for.

I arrived at hotel, clerk tried putting me in a smoking room, although I had reserved a non smoking room He then proceeded to put me in a double room instead of a king bed room. I requested a room on 1st floor due to me being in a walking boot due to a broken foot still put me in 2nd floor no elevator so had to walk up stairs. Air conditioner wasn't working, called front desk clerk said he would send maintenance never showed up Over all very disappointed with my stay

I had to change rooms sevral times due To problems. The water was shut off almost every day. I had to keep going back to the office for problem after problem. The air conditioners barely worked if at all. The rooms smelled of bug spray. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at one of your hotels. If this is what I have to look forward to I will not be back.
