“Tucson's Best”
I had never been to Tucson before and found the JW Marriott Resort by sure chance. I went to Tucson on two business/personal trips and enjoyed the resort immensely. It was clean and the staff was very, very attentive. All of our needs were met and would recommend it to friends, family members and co-workers. I felt like I was living in a palace.
“A beautiful stay...”
Wonderful staff, beautiful location and an exceptional stay. We enjoyed our first anniversary celebration.
“Love the JW”
Third time there. Awesome property with excellent golf course and BBQ restaurant.
“Loved it”
Staying at JW Marriott Starr Pass is always a great experience. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great atmosphere.
“Nice Family Resort”
This is a nice family resort with wonderful pools, good service and a lovely setting. The hotel is nicely situated close to central Tucson but with easy access to great hiking and other interesting sites like the Sonora Desert Museum. There is a wonderful outside terrace bar that is perfect for drinks as the sun is setting - excellent cocktails, light food and a gorgeous view. The food in the hotel overall was good although not outstanding, with the best eating event being the brunch in the Signature Restaurant. Two watch outs for families - the rooms aren't terribly large and there isn't much space for clothes other than hanging space in the closet. Second, you must reserve time at the kids club 24 hours in advance and have to pay for either a full day or half day. It would be great to have the option of spontaneously dropping in for a few hours and paying only for those hours.
“great hotel”
Friendly attentive staff. Will stay there again.
“Will Return with Hubby for Weekend Retreat”
Beautiful resort/oasis in the middle of the desert. Being from Louisiana, Tucson was a bit of a culture shock. However, the cleanliness and luxuriousness of the room with a gorgeous view made me forget home instantly! Went with a girlfriend for a wedding. Will return soon with husband for a weekend getaway! Restaurants, bar area, and even Starbucks made it super convenient. Didn't really have to leave the place! Summertime would be a blast because of the ample swimming pools and slides!
“Great Time”
Awesome resort and golf course - would go back.
“Tuscon”
Beautiful hotel and resort. I would highly recommend it. There is not much to do in the surrounding town of Tuscon but this resort has beautiful pools, golf, and great restaurants so you really don't have to leave.
“Would love to go back”
The resort was excellent. We enjoyed the view, the surroundings, the food, etc. Golf was also excellent. Well organized so that we never felt rushed on the course. Very unique setting (to us anyway) We enjoyed seeing roadrunners, quail, rabbits, deer, and the wild pigs. The views of the area were lovely! If you go, we recommend you ask for the city view and also for a balcony. It is worth the extra money you might pay! The bathrooms were very large with separate shower and tub. (only disappointment was the tub was not jetted) We also really liked the outside deck area overlooking the resort, desert and the city. The firepits, story telling, and marshmellow (smores) were a very We would love to go back!! The hotel is out from town. We loved that but we did rent a car to get around.
