We wanted to try staying in a casita. To start, the mattress was good but we only 2 small pillows each for a king size bed. The bathroom- where to start? While the Mexican style tile was pretty, you had to actually step into the shower stall to close/open the door to use the toilet. the re was ONE small shelf, for soap. We actually went to the local dollar store and bought suction cup hooks and aplastic basket to make our own shower caddy and have hooks to hang our towels to dry. The restaurant was okay, Mexican fare, but the menu was only a photo copied sheet with so many spelling errors it was like reading code! Breakfast was blah, same every single day. The courtyard in the middle was very pretty, lush and green you would never know you were in Arizona. Pool was nice, needs some care, a few cracked tiles one set of stairs broken. They need to put in a kiddie pool, there is huge empty patio area that would be perfect because parents obviously cannot read when signs clearly state no children under 12 in the hot tub! While it was an experience, would not stay here again or recommend it, should have known when I saw later this was Choice Hotel property, we've never had great experiences at some of their other properties.

Broken lock on door, outlets did not work, terrible bed. Very uncomfortable. Cockroach in our room. Barking dog next door. Overall terrible visit. We left after one night and had to get a different hotel. None of the staff was helpful or seemed to care about our concerns.

The profile shows that it is a 4 star property and the tag line says it is a Upscale hotel. We found that it is totally not what it is shown on expedia. It is at most a two star motel. The profile is very deceiving. We were told by the front desk staff that breakfast is served till 9:30am. We arrived at 9:20am and most of the hot food were gone. They were unwilling to refill the eggs, saying that their kitchen equipment was down. We could see some left over bits of egg in the container and the staff was totally lying.

Property is not an upscale resort per its tagline. It is an upscale motel. It was priced higher than nicer hotels closer to UofA. Expected it to be a resort vacation buts a motel with a pool .

It’s a nice place but the restaurant service was terrible. We left after our server never returned to take our drink order. The only other table of customers told us they think they had been forgotten. As we left, we passed the server in the hotel lobby talking with his coworkers. The hot tub was not heating for two of our three days. We payed a resort fee of $20/night for “pool use, parking, and bottles of water in the room” which was 4 bottles of Dasani. The parking isn’t great and a portion of the spots are reserved for “members” even though we apparently paid to park there. Overall a beautiful property but horribly managed.

The property was very nice. The morning breakfast was very good. DO NOT however eat at the restaurant for dinner. The worst service i have ever experienced. The orders were wrong and 4 extra drinks were added to our tab. I have a terrible habit of just paying the bill. Glad i looked this time.

We stayed 4 nights. The bed mattress was overdue to be change. There were significant low spots on each side of the King size mattress. I had a back ache for 4 days just recovering from the bed. We won't go back ever. The rest of the complex was fine we used the nicly heated pool and hot tub, they were great. The facility is older than you would think from the advertisement pictures. The location was good for access to areas things to see.

Decent area, good parking, seems expensive but in all fairness they all are. The biggest problem was the false advertising on Expedia. Their ad said Free complimentary Breakfast but we were charged an extra fee per day plus tax. I contacted expedia through their site about it they just kept telling me it was the Hotels policy. When i confronted the hotel they informed us it was Expedia. Never book rooms with Expedia, they are crooks

First, the staff are excellent. Friendly, helpful, concerned about their guests. Offered great recommendations for places to eat and fun things to do. Beds were very comfortable. Sadly, our room (I can't speak for the whole facility) was dated and badly in need of repair/updating. Tiny bathroom with no room for toiletries, hair dryer is stored in the closet. Huge water stains and obvious repairs on the ceiling. Our room was missing a coffee maker and one was brought promptly but there was no 3 prong outlet to plug it into--the 3-prong outlet was located directly behind the dresser that housed the fridge and TV, so no way of moving it. All reviews are based upon the sense of value (did what I pay match up with what I got) and I am disappointed. At 325 CAD a night, I was expecting something much nicer. If I the room rate had been 140 CAD or less, I would have felt that I got what I paid for.

Worth it
Perfect location. Pretty clean. Just needs some updating like gym didn't have working water cooler, no bath soap, sliding door curtains were old with holes, and not easy to slide the door. No vent fan in bathrooms. But for the price it was everything we needed and free breakfast is a plus and was good!

When we arrive, there is no one at the front desk and I had to go look for them. They have a restaurant that is sorely understaffed and we had a wait a very long time for our food. The TV didn’t work, and when I asked someone to come fix it they never showed up. The milk at their breakfast was curdled and expired. The manager said he would adjust the bill.

When I arrived the room said it had been cleaned. It wasn’t. The sheets were dirty and there was blood on them. They made the bed like it had been cleaned but it had not been done and still gave me the room. They decided to move me to another room in which was occupied by another couple. Finally the 3rd room is what I should have received from the beginning.

The room we stayed in had really tall beds, I’m 5’5 and had to pull myself onto the bed, it was very awkward. There was no hotel information in the room to tell us what all there was to do in the hotel or it’s surroundings. Lastly, it was really cold and no blankets on the beds, ended running the heat all night.

Having a heated pool and spa was such a treat! Tucson has so many restaurants and things to do. Everything is 15 to 20 minutes away. It is a quaint hotel with small bathrooms, but a nice balcony and other places to stretch out and relax.

Property was beautiful as first impression. Was likely gorgeous 20 years ago. Room size was adequate. Bathroom was small. The grounds were well manicured. Carpet was old and worn. Pool was not well maintained. Pool tile was missing inside the pool and pool needed a good cleaning. My Payment card was denied/declined by the hotel's system and all other patrons within earshot were aware due to the staff at the front desk. Staff finally apologized to my husband and I after my husband's card was also declined by the hotel's system and error not by our bank. On a positive note breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious.
