Great hotel

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: The staff is the best!
Cons: Larger bathroom--but then, who doesn't want that!
Two couples stayed here one night to meet up with friends and enjoy Tucson. The hotel staff did everything to make our stay wonderful. We asked for early check-in, got it; we asked for late check-out, got it. Breakfast was included, the pool was lovely, and the hotel is about a block and a half from Starbucks. We had car issues as well and the Toyota dealership was two miles from the hotel! We couldn't have asked for more.

Older well maintained resort like Hotel.

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Quiet atmosphere
Cons: The complimentary breakfast
Location: Between Tucson and Oro Valley. Several shopping areas close by with lots of restaurants.
Great location!! Older but well maintained hotel. Rooms were smaller than average but very cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Our room was on the lower floor. It had a patio that looked onto a nice green area. The pool was beautiful. The complimentary breakfast could have offered more but was satisfactory. The whole experience was peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to unwind during your visit to Tucson / Oro Valley.

Nice oasis kind of place to stay

Pros: See above

Stayed for four days at la Posada and enjoyed it very much. Liked our casita- the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Decor was a bit tired looking and I'd recommend they replace the carpet, not because it was dirty, rather just looked dated. Great front and back outdoor sitting area. Very pretty grounds, quiet, friendly staff, cheery dining area and pleasant balcony seating. Enjoyed the very clean pool and hot tub and the overall relaxed atmosphere of the place. The breakfast, while basic, was consistent and adequate. I felt very comfortable and at home at la Posada and would happily stay there again.

Pros: Location, room touches, cleanliness and friendly, responsive staff.
Cons: The breakfast. Some local offerings would be nice to have in the room. We had to travel to the hotel lobby to look for brochures or local establishm
Location: So much to see and do in Tucson. Golfing and Sabino Canyon very near.
Took a couple of reminders to get the light turned off on our patio since we were not fond of it being on all night long. We prefer to have the drapes open and enjoy the view. Room clean and comfortable, tho bathroom small and lacked counter space. Lights on far stairwell were out and could not be used at night. One night we could hear our neighbors and they were up from 2:30 to 5:30 am. They were not yelling and did not seam out of hand, so that was a bit disconcerting. We were not in the casitas.

Nice, quieter than expected

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Location, value for money, clean, comfortable beds.
Cons: The driveway entrance could be better indicated after dark. There were only two outlets available in the room, one a two prong one.
Since this hotel is located on a major street, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it tended to be. Obviously an older property (maybe 70s?) that has been renovated quite nicely. The room was kept very clean.
