Cons: See above
Many people are very allergic to dogs cats etc. I would have been nice to know that pets are allowed in the hotel. We could have made requests just like the non smoking issue.

A Quiet Respite After a Long Drive from San DiegoPosted May 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Everything was fine. Close to a lot of reataurants, too. We enjoyed the internal elevator vice external stairs. The only problem was that the TV, whener it was turned on, defaulted to "Analog 2" station vice "Analog 3" which was the correct setting for receiving cable programs. We told the desk clerk upon our checkout and she told us she would get that fixed immediately.

Overall goodPosted Apr 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room is clean. I feel comfortable. Internet speed is fast. And I am satisfied by the breakfast, including bacon and fried eggs.

Trains!Posted Feb 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall the hotel was nice - convenient location - good service - ok breakfast. But there is a LOUD Train that passes by several times during the night - it blows its horn at the nearby crossing and unfortunately woke me up several times each night. This alone would keep me from staying at this hotel again.

Trains in the nightPosted Feb 16, 2013
Trains - Trains - Trains - Unless you work for the Southern Pacific Railways, the few times the trains blow their horns in the early morning ( 1-5 am early) will get your attention for sure.

Everything about this hotel is great. The staff, the room, the location . The room was complete with fridge, micro, coffee, comfortable beds and the best shower ever! The water pressure was so good it felt like a massage. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean and smelled good. Shopping and restaurants very close. Had a lot of breakfast items, hot and cold and plenty of it. Would definitely stay here again!

I was overall pleased with this hotel and will stay again. It would be nice if they would make a specific outdoor area for your pets to take care of business.

Great Hotel, even for the handicapPosted Aug 13, 2012
Location: Great location. my bank was just across the street, gas station and the whole pavillion shopping center was great.
My whole experience with the Quinta hotel was great, the only reason I gave a 4 to the confort of my room is because it lack a thermostat to control the room temperature, it was either hot or cold. Had to to turn off/on the unit to keep it at a constant pleasing temperature. The continental breakfast was great, only problem noticed was the hard as a rock bisquiks, to accompany the sauce patties. The staff was great, I had forgotten my dissability tag, and could not park my rental car at the designated handicap area, however the staff member took my licence tag number and made an note and advice me that I could park at one the designated spot and not to worry about it. We spent 4 night at the hotel.
