"Nice resort with terrific restaurant and gardens"
The cactus and flower gardens were top notch -- especially the butterfly garden. Resort trails were nice and contained my nice cactus specimens from the Sonoran desert. The "Gold" restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was excellent. The health club, pools, and tennis courts were very nice. The room was large and comfortable, but could have been a bit cleaner. The bathroom ceiling fan and vent were quite dirty. The TV was good size, but rather old and would require 2-3 second to change channels, per channel.

"Wonderful getaway - even with a full hotel"
I went to Dove Mountain for a few days of R&R in the dry desert heat. I could not have been happier with the hotel. The staff were the nicest i have encountered - friendly, attentive, helpful - even with the hotel being at max capacity. The facility itself is spacious, inviting and has any amenity you might want - hiking trails out the back door, a wonderful spa, good food (not the most diverse but all was good). I would stay there again in an instant - though i would probably choose less busy weekend. There were too many vacationing families and general crowdedness for me. But even with that i enjoyed my stay.

"Very clean, nice lobby and excellent hospitality!"
Child friendly hotel, close to the I-10. Very clean environment. Edward and Maria were very nice. My toddler got sick before bedtime and they were very understanding, Edward brought me clean linens and fresh towels so we didn't have to sleep in stench. (My toddler was car sick from the long drive from San Antonio, Texas to Tuscon, AZ. I will recommend to all my family and friends. Thanks for the great experience!

"We had a great stay!"
We had a great time. The room was ready when we arrived. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. Other reviewers complained about not getting late check in or the fact it is a retirement community. There is a number to call for check ins after 5pm. Just call and let them know ahead of time. Yes. This is in a retirement community. There are restrictions on the times children can be in the pool. It did not bother us. Our son is 14 years old and he had no problem using the pool and hot tub. I loved the fact that there were mostly adults at the pool. Would definately stay again. The only negative we found is that the beds are a little hard. My husband's back hurt after the first night. The matteress did not bother me.
