“not impressed”
Rug was dirty, ice bucket had not been emptyed since previous guest, refreg did not work. Asked for a mountain view got a view of the driving range, with people right out side of our pattio it was hard to relax and enjoy coffee out there. Pool was very nice, but all in all over priced compared to other resorts this time of year. will not go back there again. would not recomend it.
“Best example of hospitality in the business”
Truly friendly staff. We were treated like our opinion of the hotel really mattered. A small inconvenience was deemed unacceptable and we were upgraded for our trouble. Concierges were fantastic. The end result is that we will try to get ALL of our girlfriends here from atlanta for a girls' weekend !
“Good value, but really old.”
I think this was a great hotel in the 60's or 70's but it is way past its prime. I would only recommend this hotel if you get a very low rate.
“alittle over priced”
the hotel was older but very clean and the rooms casita style around the golf course, great if you are looking for a quite time. the mountains and golf course were very beautiful. All in all a beautiful quiet stay at this resort.
“Good value”
We were pleased with our room and it's location near the pond - enjoyed the ducks. The room was clean, but in need of some repairs (bath/shower). It would be helpful to have a phone book in the room, and some info on the resort. (i.e. TWO pools, and pool hours, info on pool towels, etc) The room was quite large with a wonderful patio. It was not fancy, but it was quaint. We would book again!
“Affordable Luxury”
Though the room could have used updating, everything was comfortable, clean, staff was top rate. Whenever we asked for something - dry pool towels, extra linens - the items were brought to us within minutes, even though we were in a villa not attached to the main hotel. The grounds were immaculate, well cared for, with wonderful views. We used the hot tub every day and it was perfect. The heated pool (it was in mid 50s - 60s all week) was convenient and a salt water pool which I really liked. The concierge went out of her way to answer questions, find us information, make sure we had what we needed. We did not eat in any of the restaurants, not because of the establishments themselves, but because we prefer to explore out of the way places to eat.
“Fantastic Resort”
Beautiful grounds, friendly, helpful staff, nice North Tucson location, spacious and comfortable room with nice view. The mountain view room was nicely remodeled, comfortable bed and living area. The hotel brought in a fridge, and did not charge us, tho it usually is a 10-15 dollar per day fee. Room had plenty of nice amenities, free internet access, new flat screen TV, (tho kinda small for the huge size of the room), elegant, very large bathroom, lanai facing golfcourse and beautiful mountain view. One word of caution: Make sure you reserve a second story, upper level room-the remodel did not include soundproofing, and on our second night a family of "elephants" moved in upstairs, guests walking around upstairs woke us up in the night. The plumb wall was not insulated either, the loud "whooosh" of flushing and running water was extreme. Pretty amazing oversight on for such a large scale remodel. other than that, great golf resort, beautiful pool area also, tho it was too chilly for us to use in January.
“Very nice, but missed some marks.”
The room is very very nice, nothing to complain there. However, there are small things that I just wish that they can make it. First, the "Mountain Vista" room is not worth it... Open the curtain, there is "Driving range" and mountains are far far away. Early in morning, there are people outside window practicing. Not that they will disturb me or I can hear noises, just that I can't open the curtain and enjoy the mountain vista I paid for (unless if I don't care about privacy). Second, the coffee cream expired 1.5 weeks ago and it forms these disgusting fat around the pod.... Never saw such things even in a 2-star hotel, and this is a 4-star hotel.. Third, WiFi is too weak to be connected in my room. I thus can only access internet through a 2-meter cable. Again, acceptable, but just annoying... Fourth, shower room is small (32" x 32"). I am an avg. asian and I feel that the space is crowded. Not sure how those big guys can comfortably take a shower here. Anyway, despite those I mentioned above, the room is spacious, nice and clean. Bathroom is beautiful, decorations are neutral and soothing. Don't know about its golf courses and other amenities, never got a chance to use them.
“Lovely experience”
The Omni Tucson is a peaceful, luxurious oasis; wonderful spa and pool, two great golf courses and very friendly staff. On site dining is OK, not exceptional, although Bob's Steak House is highly rated. Very nice rooms tastefully furnished, very comfortable beds. My only complaint is that we didn't get sun on our deck at all. Next time I will request a room that gets morning sun.
“Room next to the golf course.”
The room was recently updated. It was well appointed and conveniently located next to the 1st T on the golf course. You can't get a better location than that!
