“Never again”
Waited over 1 hr. for the Quality Inn free airport limo to pick me up at Tucson airport. Called 3 times, giving my name each time. At the 3rd call, they said, sorry, they picked up someone else, thinking it was me. They did pay for my taxi, but I lost a lot of time waiting for nothing. Hotel itself is dreadful. Claims to be all non-smoking, but sure didn't smell good. Changed rooms 3 times, trying to get a room with a fridge, then card keys wouldn't work in my door, which meant yet another couple of trips to the front desk to get that fixed. The desk clerk was very nice and did all she could to get a fridge for me that evening. The hallways were gloomy and dingy and the stair railings were broken and "repaired" with splintered wood and exposed nails. I finally received the fridge, which was not very clean and the paint was chipped off the shelves. The sliding glass door was missing a screen and was very difficult to lock. The wallpaper was peeled away over the air cond. The room was advertised to include a hair dryer, but when I looked for it, all I found was a plaque on the wall where it had been. They did bring me one the next day. The general state of the room was unclean and worn out. I was in Tucson for the bead shows, and I know that prices are inflated for that, however, the huge price I paid was way too much for such a substandard accommodation. I had considered extending my stay by a day, but I couldn't bear spending another night in that place.

Large rock and gem show going on. Hotel was noisy and very busy. Wireless Internet signal too weak to work from room.
