“Nice Place To Stay”
Nice hotel, beautiful grounds and love the suite layout. Had some small maintenance problems -- an electrical outlet that did not work and a telephone handset that didn't work. However, the staff was fairly responsive to fix these when they were reported. All staff members were very friendly and provided good service.. cheerfully and pleasant.
“Nice Suite”
This is well kept Hotel in Central Tucson and was good for the business stay.
“Enjoyed our stay.”
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bed was a sleep number, and we couldn't get it adjusted properly. Otherwise, we were very happy with the service of the maids, restaurant personnel, and the front desk personnel.
“A few improvements needed to make this a great stay!”
The hotel was easy to find and convenient to many amenities (w/i a comfortable driving distance). It does need some cleaning and upgrades. The courtyard entrance from the parking lot had several stairs making it difficult for luggage transport. We specifically booked the sofa sleeper room and it was unusable due to food in the bedding and due to the lateness of the hour and our exhaustion, did not request late night linen change. When I told this to the front desk at check out, there wasn't even an apology for the inconvenience.
“Great place to stay.”
Our suite was great and our veiw was wonderful. The mountains were beautiful to look at from our balconi. It was very relaxing by the pool and it was very well kept. My only recomendation is not to use the laundry facilities. Wait till you get home. I would go back and stay again.
“Needs some maintenance”
The people at the hote where great. Service of the staff was excellent. But the room had an old wasp nest on top of the entrance door. It also had slow running water on the WC and the furniture needed some upholstery renewal.
“Suite perfect for family”
We stayed in a mini suite that had a separate room and a small sitting area. The size was.perfect for our family. The sleep number beds were great! The hotel was clean and we really enjoyed our stay.
“Meh”
The hotel's courtyard is beautiful, though we didn't get a chance to spend much time there. The room itself could have been nicer. The shower and bath are separate and the size of the shower is uncomfortably small (don't even bother shaving your legs in this shower unless you are willing to do some epic acrobatics). The shower was also filled with long black hairs on our first night, though it was cleaned regularly during our stay. The bathroom sink leaked at the faucets and the caulking throughout the bathroom was moldy. The layout of the entire suite was problematic and would make much more sense to open it up a bit. It was difficult to navigate the labyrinth, especially at night. And when you open the door to the bedroom it is in the way of the bathroom access. The paint color was horrible and not well done so it looked shabby. The sleep number bed is just silly. I would have been happier with a good mattress. Overall, the room would have been more appropriate in 1991 and could use some updating and basic upkeep. Finally, the elevator closest to the room was out of order the majority of our stay and we had to use the stairs. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located for my needs (family lives very nearby). The staff appeared very friendly and, as I mentioned earlier, the courtyard is quite lovely.
