Great resortvexperience

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Everything beginning with check in to check out.
Cons: Music a little too loud in casual bar but don't think it can be changed for live bands. Suggest sitting outside next to bar as its buffered a bit. Gre
Location: Didn't check out location, it was one overnight stay.
We had driven from Austin RX to Tucson and found this jewel on Expedia. Everyone from check in (Dee) to check out ...fabulous. We started with a martini in the casual bar, music began at 7:30pm. Decided to try upscake Gold Restayrant for dinner. Chef has own garden for fresh vegetables, spices. Bernadette providd a fabulous dining experience. Great food with beautiful view then we headed to our upgraded room. Great view, quiet and private, comfortable bed and a restful evening. Great pool setting, excellent service then time to head to Las Vegas! Would recommend the Westward Look Resortr and Spa! Our experience was fabulous!

Expected a LOT more from the Wyndham chain.

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The grounds, landscaping were beautiful. The bed was comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room which we "accidentally" found in the bathroom.
Cons: Staff's knowledge, professionalism. Everything about the rooms! We did not use the golf course, pool or other facilites, so cannot speak of those.
Location: Location was good. There were all the familiar chain restaurants, stores within a few miles. Seemed to be a nice part of town.
Check-in staff were very vague. Finding room was very difficult! They were not clear on the instructions! It was so confusing that we had to follow the security guard to the room and he was very rude about it! The room was old, smelly, dark, antiquated furnishings. Things were to old to really get the room clean. Old, faded carpet! They charge a resort fee each night and a fee per day if you want a microwave in your room. No complimentary breakfast. I've stayed in 2 star hotels nicer than this and they didn't charge a resort fee AND the room came with a microwave!!

Great Staycation

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: Price, location and amenities on site.
Cons: Better signage for ice machines, escort to room (hard to find using their map), poolside waiter/waitress.
Location: Ina and Oracle is a great area to be. Lots of restaurants, golf, grocery options, etc. Mall is 10 minutes away. Lots to do and see.
Very pleasant staff, excellent room & excellent customer service. Refrigerator broke down the day we checked in. Staff replaced it and Resort removed two nights Resort fees for lost food. Only issue was drinks at the pool. No one ever said to use Resort phone by the pool to call bar for drinks and poolside bar was closed during week.

Pros: Service, everyone was very nice took care of any problems right away, not along wait like many Hotels.
Cons: a little updating, the furnishings need updating and the sheets and pillow cases.
Location: Tucson is Desert, so it is hot, but in the evenings there were plenty of nice places to eat, not to far to drive, we didn't eat in the restaurant.
The Hotel was very nice. overall we would stay again.

Tranquil and Simply Very Comfortable

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Plenty of amenities included, property's aesthetics.
Cons: Maybe add a microwave to the rooms.
Location: Close to many restaurants on Oracle Road, Tucson Mall down the road, also.
Very much one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed at! The location is set slightly more away from its main road so it has a much quieter environment around the guest room area. Parking is ample and is also in close-proximity (some just 15 steps away) of majority of each hotel building. Room interiors are very comfortable and air-conditioning operates efficiently. Assigned to a Posada King type room and included a mini-fridge (not that tiny though) with plenty of room. There are also balconies that are part of the units and have chairs to sit and watch a beautiful desert sunset as most or all of these hotel buildings have their balconies facing westward - probably where their name comes from : Westward Look! And although I had not made use of the other amenities offered in the stay there are things like the pool, spa, tennis court, two small hiking areas surrounding the property, and a bar. The property's grounds are simply beautiful and you can find some wildlife running about while trekking outside of your hotel room.
