hotel next to golf course and subdivisionPosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: The resort area overall and in particular the swimming area are very pretty.
Location: The resort is a little out of the way, and we were visiting our daughter and Grand children. When we wanted to do anything, we had to drive a ways.
We chose this hotel because it is right next door to the subdivision that our family was staying at. From the outside, it is a very nice looking facility, but you get what you pay for. We paid for the less expensive room, and that is what we got. there was a window in the room but it didn't open to an outside view. when we looked out the window, we saw an empty shaft inside the building. at the top of the shaft, there was a sky light, and at the bottom there was a small plant area. The shaft was about a ten foot square, and straight across from our window was a hallway the other tenants used to come and go. We were disappointed about this, but again, you get what you pay for. Other than that, the room was pretty much like any other hotel room. The free breakfast was a real surprise!! It was on the golf course just across the street from the hotel, in the regular dining area. This was a very nice restaurant and the breakfast was from a very good menu of breakfast items. We were seated at a table and served by very friendly waiters. The service was good and the food was excellent, they also serve lunch and dinner, but we never tried those times. Although the lunch and dinner are not included, I would bet that they would be worth trying. I am out of characters, so overall, if you just want to relax and play golf for a few days, this resort would be fine for that.

Great desert golf resort!Posted Mar 23, 2015
This is our second trip to the Green Valley Wyndham Canoa ranch resort. The king suites are spacious, clean ( housekeeping daily) , well supplied kitchen, bathroom with garden tub and shower and washer and dryer. The pool area is nicely landscaped with comfortable lounge chairs. There is a separate hot tube area. Golf course and club house with restraunt an easy 5 min walk from the rooms. I was less impressed with the restaurant this year. Menu descriptions seemed more exciting than the flavor of the food.

Nice hotel close to golf.Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The restaurant could make a more healthy breakfast. The air condition unit was noisy out side our bedroom window.
The hotel is in a quiet location with lots of golf courses in area.

My second Stay at this Wyndam hotelPosted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: Location near the golf course.
Cons: See previous comments
When I checked in I asked about an upgrade for a room. The front desk person said there weren't any available even though during my week stay the hotel did not appear to be anywhere near full. The room I was given was an extra room that was attached to a suite. My few from the only window was of a wall for a hallway accross a small atrium. Clearly I was willing to pay for an upgraded room upon my arrival (like I had done on a previous visit) but was not accorded that opportunity. The wait staff and House Keepers were very nice and did their jobs very professionaly.

Pros: Quiet and close to golf course.
Cons: Microwave in room would good.
Best inclusive breakfast menu I have ever seen. The only thing that I heard people sitting around us was that you could only pick juice or coffee not both . I think that is an easy fix.

Good quiet relaxing vacationPosted Mar 1, 2015
The staff was excellent, kind, helpful. Good golf course. Nice pool area. Very quite not much to do in the evenings. There is only a few restaurants and no other night life unless you drive back into Tuscon.

Enjoyed our stayPosted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Cheap speakers by the pool tuned to a radio station. Had to listen to all of the commercials.
Location: Retirement community. Mainly golf courses. Area restaurants were mediocre at best. Artsy town of Tubac nearby. The desert museum expensive, worth
Very quiet building. Had to cross a highway (very little traffic, mostly guests at the hotel) and a parking lot to get to the restaurant. Staff very friendly. Staff at the grille on the green mostly friendly and helpful. One waiter not so much. Free breakfast was not a buffet but you order off a menu. The omelets were ok but the rest of the menu was not good, particularly the oatmeal which was not even warm and consistency of glue. Dinner menu changed after 2 nights and was much improved. Golf course staff were great. We would stay again.

Winter get awayPosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Golfing, pool area and breakfast.
Location: Was nice to be out of chaos, Tubac was a nice drive and great day, Green Valley market was fun.
The hotel is very nice, I would recommend getting an outside room view, atrium view is a bit klosterfobic! Breakfast was very good everyday. Nice to have golfing right there.

hotel adatto per lavoro e svagoPosted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: pulizia e ordine
