“Convienent to Hwy but very quiet”

The room was very clean and nicely equipped with everything as advertised. The bed was very comfortable and the couch also. The desk and chair setup worked great for all my electrical products as it had a 4 plug access as part of the setup as well as a plug access in the desk light. The WiFi strength was 5 bars and easy to access. While it is right off of the highway, the room was very quite, no highway noice what so ever. There was a Steakhouse that shared the parking lot and a Subway/Filling station as well. Other eating locations were within 500 yards. The hot breakfast in the morning was good and constantly being refreshed so nothing got stale or overcooked. I plan to use this hotel next summer on my trip to the Grand Canyon area since it is a proven place to stay.

“Great for people looking to catch up on Facebook”

My husband and I were in Tucumcari for a high school reunion and stayed at the Discovery Inn. There are two other hotels with adjoining parking lots that were $30 a night more. The Discovery Inn used to be the posh hotel and is now just one of many outdated hotels in town. I liked the continental breakfast, free wifi, and blackout curtains. The con I would point out is that the room service people took sheets off the bed in the morning and didn't bring them back until late afternoon instead of cleaning the room in the morning when we were out and making the bed. I thought it had something to do with not enough sheets for a packed hotel since occupancy was considerably higher than usual, but it made the stay a little awkward since we came back between 11 am and 2 pm to take a nap before the evening excursion. The bed was made when we got back that night but the room hadn't been cleaned and the complimentary items replenished. Overall the experience was satisfactory. I would definitely stay there again.

“Great place to stop on your way through”

Friendly, professional staff who acted happy to see us, and help us. The room was comfortable, beds comfortable. Breakfast excellent choices. Great place to stop for the night, on your way... easy on and off the freeway... Everything was clean and felt very safe.

“great hotel right off the highway”

We've stayed at this hotel before and always book it when we are in the area. It's right off the highway and easy to find. The pool was lovely. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit including grapes and watermelon. The staff was helpful and welcoming. There are several places to eat within walking distance and a gas station across the street. Food at K-Bobs is marginal though.

“Tucumcari”

We got there late at night, so we were only there for a few hours. I noticed late at night the hot water did not work and the heating/cooling system was extremely noisy. Otherwise it was okay.
