"My wife and I spent a night at the Mayo Hotel, just to get away and enjoy each others company. We loved the lobby of the hotel and all of the beautiful decor. Unfortunately we arrived about an hour early and our room wasnt ready yet. The woman at the front desk put our name on a list to be called when our room was clean. We watched one person after another get their room keys. At 4pm (the hotels checkin time) i went back up to the desk and asked what was going on with my room. The woman said that our room had been ready for awhile. I asked why she didnt call us like she said she would. She rolled her eyes, handed me my room key and turned away. Other than the poor service at the desk, the hotel was fantastic. The room was wonderful "
