I would have appreciated a FREE continental breakfast vs. paying for one. I noticed the hospital across the street and the people visiting loved ones would probably like something included in the price of the hotel. The room was bright and pleasant, I liked the covered parking. Staff was AWESOME!

Dirt of something in bottom of bathtub. Parking garage really inconvenient, long walk to main entrance. Priced fair but not sure we would return.

Great Hotel, Wonderful Assistant Manager

Posted Feb 17, 2015
On a cold, snowy day, Gus the doorman brought my car around to the front door, snow and ice removed, and car warmed. He seemed to take pleasure in being of service. Robert, the shuttle driver was headed to the airport and when I mentioned in passing that I was petrified of driving on icy roads, he said not to worry and that I could follow him and he would stop if I had any problems. No problems and I will be back to the Doubletree, hopefully in better weather! Highly recommend.

Very little soundproofing in the rooms. Could hear kids running up and down the hall till late. Thn had someone pound on my door after mid nite and yell housekeeping. Wasn't super thrilled.

Nice hotel close to Tulsa hospital.

Staff was excellent and very friendly. We were there just for the night to see a concert downtown. Room service provided and valet great. We were able to bring our 2 dogs without any problems.

Great front desk staff

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Loved Jason, the front desk clerk, and the cookies were nice.
Cons: If you are going to have a buffet that is open until 11, you have to keep the food stocked. There were still people coming in to eat, and it was cold
Location: We went to a concert at the BOK center.
When we arrived at the hotel there was a person who does valet. If you can, park your own car, it isn't worth the 12/night charge, and we had to wait like 15-20 minutes the next day to get our car, and we could see it from front door. After we walked to check in, however the clerk, Jason was just awesome. He was so nice, he talked to us about our room, he upgraded us to the executive suite, not sure why, just to be nice I guess. He was wonderful. While he was checking in he talked to us about himself briefly, and he was just the nicest person. He gave us 2 comped meals for breakfast (more about the breakfast later) but that was just the nicest thing. Then he gave us 2 cookies, which were really good. My husband has a medical condition which he has to have his medicine kept in a fridge, so he called to get it sent up, but told us that if it wasn't there by the time we got there to call to the desk and have them send it up. Which we did. The room was nice, clean, they sent up the fridge, it didn't keep my husband's medicine cold, but those mini fridge's never seem to, so I don't think that was their fault. The next day we got up and ready for breakfast, it was a buffet, which they were supposed to have open until 11. Most of the food was gone, and what wasn't was cold. We were glad we didn't pay for it, or we would have been upset. The wait staff was pleasant, however. All in all stay was good, I wouldn't eat the buffet, unless you go early.

Hotel Nice at Motel Price

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: Modern up to date looks, courteous staff, Christmas decorations, well run.
Cons: Getting just a little dated, probably due for some remodeling. Some moldy grout in bath due to age, otherwise clean.
Location: prime location uptown, not walkable
Stayed here 4 nights before Christmas so everything was very quiet. (yes, even the mice!) I normally stay at motels but at this time, it was discounted even below motel prices, so it was a no-brainer to stay here. It's a really nice place and one of Tulsa's best. No dinner service for holidays, but many decent restaurants nearby.

Great hotel with restaurant and bar on property. We were the only people in the restaurant on December 23rd but we ordered from the full menu. Our dinners were very good. Clean and comfortable hotel with a good staff.

Dated rooms

Posted Dec 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room look dated, but looking outside was peaceful. I did like the neighborhood. However, there were kids everywhere. The room looked like a cheap hotel so I don't think the price was worth it. Also, the Doubletree's in Florida promote unlimited cookies, but this Doubletree would only allow one cookie per guest.
