Fairgrounds based Hotel

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Closeness to Tulsa University
Cons: Freshen the decor
Location: Lots of stuff to do close by.
Very convenient for events at the fairgrounds. Very vanilla decor and furnishings. Continental breakfast mostly single serving pastries in the package. A little overpriced for the condition of the property. Background, I worked for a hotel/casino hosptitality company for many years and stayed in my own companies properties. Not even close.

Located on the Fairgrounds

Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Great location to the fairgrounds.
Cons: Clean the carpet and improve the breakfast products.
The location was the best for attending a function at the fairgrounds. The staff was pleasant. The hotel is dated and the internet service is spotty at best. It was nice having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. There was no hairdryer, iron or shampoo. Breakfast was disappointing. After walking in the room, my feet were as dirty as if I had been outside barefoot.

Location good.

Location is the reason this older property is on high demand. Can walk to fairgrounds.

Hotel was much better than expected. Newly remodeled rooms provided all the essentials and VERY close to the expo center. Staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean. AC worked great. Remember to bring your own shampoo because they do not provide, but that is the only thing that was missing.

Not Happy

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: close to a water bank
Cons: A/C needs to be adjusted.
The room we had was not comfortable temperature-wise. The thermostat was set at 60 but it must have been closer to 80. Luckily the outside temp was not very high, but it was very uncomfortable.

Convenient to Expo

Posted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall the hotel was decent. It is very convenient to the expo center. There is no pool and when asked why, they said it was pointless since the water park is next door. Well, not everyone wants to pay to go to a water park. Also, breakfast included bagels, bread, some little pastries and cereal. And they used the squeeze bottles of jelly, not individual packages. That just does not seem at all sanitary!! The hotel and room were clean and for one night it was not that bad. I would not stay here again for the price we paid.
