“Second Try”

Stayed at this hotel one other time. Arrived very late, so we did not bother to take the complaints to the office. They did refund a portion of our room though. So I gave them another try because of an early morning flight. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Lounge facilities nice although they closed at 10 p.m. The room was shabby to say the least. The dead bolt did not work. But worst was that there was NO HOT WATER when I got up.

“Excellent Location if you are flying”

We stayed there since we were flying early the next morning and this property is on the front doorstep for Tulsa International Airport. Everything was fine except they had 'Sleep Number' brand beds in our room. I'm sure they are fine, but I assume it takes a few nights to figure out the best 'number' for you. We only had one night so the bed was less than satisfactory. Overall, it was a good stay. We ate in the hotel restaurant and were please with that as well.

“would not return”

cigerette smoke was terrible.At all doors,had to walk through cloud/smell of smoke.Smoke around swimming pool was not good. Had to leave pool area,with the grandkids, early due to smoke. Walking down hall ,passed a door where a smoker was. Smelled smoke odor while passing doorway and all the way up the stairs to second floor. cartoons and butts all over the ground and on/around the chairs etc.

Area recommendations

Moving to Owasso-trip was to look at homes/land etc.

“Close to airport with shuttle service”

If you are making a quick trip to Tulsa and don't want to rent a car, this is a great "base camp". It isn't fancy. The dining room has limited hours and food selections. There is a pool that is relaxing. Fast shuttle service to the airport (less than 5 minutes) and they are very accomadating to travelers who are going to the convention center, etc. Many of the Airline personel stay there - so it is basically a business stop, clean bed (sleep number beds in some rooms), food, coffee, and helpful and friendly staff. Is it the BEST of Tulsa? No. It isn't really a destination hotel. But it did the job for me. others complain about the smell of urine, it actually is mold. Tulsa is humid and the bathrooms do not have fans and do get a smell of mold in spite of being very clean - the odor is present

“Question Cleanliness”

I saw a huge bug on the wall in the lobby when I was checking in. Gave me the creeps. Clean is job 1. Bathtub had grout that was discolored (Room 108). These things made me question the cleanliness.

“OK place to stay.”

Room was a little dirty and outdated for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was an ok stay. Just a couple minutes walk to the airport terminal.

“Not Impressed”

“Convenient but ...”

We wanted a hotel that could get us to the airport in the early morning, and this hotel did that. However, we were not happy with the room. The stool was clogged with toilet paper when we entered though the room appeared clean otherwise. We called the front desk, and they promised to send Maintenance up. No one came, so we asked a housekeeper for help. She brought a plunger, but there was no water to the stool. The housekeeper said we could ask for another room. However, I found the valve to turn the water on, and the stool seemed to work OK, so we didn't ask for a different room. We should have. The next morning, we wanted to shower, but we never got hot water. After 15 minutes, it was only slightly warm, so we didn't shower. We told the front desk when we checked out, and they said, "Sorry." It was kind of like, "Sorry, but that is your tough luck."

Area recommendations

We were returning to a job overseas, so we didn't have a car. We wanted to look around that evening. but there were no stores or walking areas near the hotel.

“Worst bed ever”

The bed was totally worn out, made you roll to the hard middle - rm # 186 schuttle to airport was good
