Place is good. Expedia doesn’t tell them you have kids. When I asked for a room on the first floor they said they were out. Then they learned I had 3 kids and all of a sudden a room opened up on the first floor.

First, noticed several “off” odors throughout the building. The elevator had a strong smell that reminded us of burning plastic or rubber. The second floor hall smelled of too-flowery cleaner with undertones of cigarette smoke. The strong odor of cleaner permeated our room. Furthermore, Our towels were thin and one bath towel was actually threadbare in places. The water was lukewarm with little pressure which resulted in an unpleasant shower. Lastly, the breakfast was poor quality. We ended up throwing the food away. Over all, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The odors you smelled was just air fresheners smell for fresh smell in hallway nothing to cover any smoke smell and all the rooms are 100% non- smoking rooms. The was no strong odor in the room we are using the cleaning products suggested by choice hotels. The water pressure may be low since we had 100% occupancy that day many people might be taking shower at same time. The breakfast was not poor quality we serve biscuits, gravy, bacon or sausages, scramble eggs, boiled eggs, hot waffles, milk and cereal, yogurt, breads and many other items, we don't see how it is poor quality. Nobody else complained that about breakfast that day more than 50 to 60 people had ate breakfast and didn't complained anything.

Hotel was clean, but a bit beat up. Really - blue masking tape holding parts on the elevator????? But otherwise it was fine. Breakfast was typical fare, but area was clean, and supplied. I would stay here again. They just need to do some maintenance around the areas.

The stay was convenient & reasonably priced. The front desk was nice & helpful with the check-in process. The breakfast good. The shower was nice and hot & the room was clean. However the ac unit kept running a little louder than usual but it made nice as a sound machince. Overall the stay was nice.

Great stay!
It is a little bit older but it was very clean. They really did a fine job all around. From cleaning to the staff being so nice and helpful. They all went out of their way to be accomodating. We really enjoyed our stay there and made sure to bring a card home as we will definitely be staying there again.

Not sure how this hotel is rated as high as it was. The customer service at the front desk both at check in and check out was terrible. The entire hotel including the room smelled strongly of disinfectant to the point of being obnoxious. The floors were uneven. I heard everything the people next door were saying and doing… the elevator wasn’t working. And it wasn’t even all that cheap of a place to stay. I was very disappointed.

Nice place, just be aware
The hotel itself was great. Front desk personnel were friendly, helpful, easy to work with. Room was nice, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was normal fare. Want people to be aware as hotel is near homeless community as we found out to our dismay. We had an item taken from the back of the pickup. No dings against hotel - just want people to be aware of area.

Don’t believe the rating
The customer rating was greatly overrated. The place was fine. Everything seemed newish. Customer service was average at best. Towels were small and only had towels for two people and no wash cloths. I had to ask for the hide-a-bed bedding, was not in the room. Breakfast was adequate, nothing worth writing about. Bed was comfortable.

There was blood on the sheets in the first room. I went Back to the front desk maybe a minute after checking in and she acted put out because I requested a clean room. She acted like she didn’t even remember just checking me in! Never even apologized and slammed the key card down in front of me. She wasn’t nice when we first checked in either. Just seemed bothered we were there. This will be on my list not to stay again

Friendly helpful staff. When we arrived and found the fridge wasn’t working, Pete immediately replaced it with another one. He was very nice about it. Housekeeping was excellent. The room was always clean and quiet.

The breakfast was very cold, we got there at around 6:15 am for breakfast. The sausage was rubbery. The coffee was bitter. Needless to say we didn’t eat it. The hotel was quiet, staff was nice. Room was clean & comfortable.

The breakfast (biscuits & gravy) was very cold. Sausage was cold, very rubbery, we arrived as soon as the breakfast opened up. The coffee was bitter. Room was very clean & comfortable. Very quiet room.

Not at all worth the money
I specifically booked this hotel because it had the Jacuzzi tub in room. When I got to my room there wasn't one and the staff treated me like I was dumb and didn't know what room I booked. The room smelled of smoke even though it is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. The ceiling above the shower was falling and and all the electrical sockets were not correctly in the wall. The room is extremely tiny for what they call a suite. Don't waste your time booking this. For what I paid for this room I could have easily booked a better room downtown. It had the better rating from other hotels but I don't see how.
